Job Details

Target to be achieved every month. Planning the allocation of stock which requires weekly sales analysis, replenishment and newness for the stores. Maintaining VM inventory. Budgeting and controlling VM Expenses. Store visit and staff training and implementation Maintain the BASE stock level store and product wise as per Business Plan OTB plan for next 2 months in advance store/brand/category wise. Working with the accounts team to tally sales figures, credit notes for returns, invoices and inward of purchases. Payments, C-form and way bill follow up. Working with the category managers and sales team on floor to understand and resolve any issues related to stock on floor and required stock turns are maintained at all stores. Working closely with the warehouse team and making sure that 1. Stocks are maintained in good condition. 2. Tally stocks by coordinating and managing monthly stock checks. 3. Ensure the timely and smooth dispatches of the product. Monitoring stock movements and analyzing sales figures, trends, regional variations, customer requirements and purchasing behavior to accurately forecast future sales and thus stock requirements. Tracking the delivery of stock, ensuring goods arrive on time and meet base stock qty. Maintaining a comprehensive library of appropriate data. Working closely with visual display staff and department heads to decide how goods should be displayed to maximize customer interest and sales. Analyzing every aspect of worst sellers & keeping an eye on slow sellers & bestsellers (for example, the bestselling price points, colors or styles) and ensuring that bestsellers reach their full potential. Finding ways to minimize defective stocks and ways to liquidate them if any. Desired profile of the candidate Must be able to strive for high growth rates in intensely competitive markets with the help of strong systems and process orientation. Must be excellent in communication skills.
Degree: MBA/ PGDM
