Produce a demand forecast weekly; deploy transient/group inventory restrictions and pricing strategies, designed to maximize revenue from a rate and occupancy perspective Ensure that the hotel has the optimal mix to maximize revenues and profitability Ensure optimal pricing for all market segments, specifically focusing on Corporate, Groups and Retail Implement pricing as per Starwood s Divisional and Global Pricing Policies Ensure that pricing decisions are appropriately folded into the distribution channel strategies of the hotel , specifically for brand websites, third parties and GDS Consult with Sales Managers on rate/inventory suitability of all potential group business. Oversee the management of Group Block activity. Ensure that group cut-off dates, rooming lists, group block activity (i.e., pickup, wash) are being well managed Manage the daily business review meeting (for large group hotels) Drive the weekly revenue strategy meetings in accordance with Starwood Standards If the hotel has or will receive TLPe, to take a leadership role in driving implementation and utilization of the tool to the benefit of the hotel and the revenue Process Pro-actively identify and analyse business opportunities from a net profit standpoint and make the appropriate business decisions e.g. comparing wedding business with a business meeting with rooms Monitor to maintain consistency with property level inventory strategies and align with Starwoods Best Available Rate (BAR) pricing philosophy Analyse channel performance both, Starwood Channels (brand website, GDS, hotel direct) and third parties Mentor, coach and supervise Reservations Manager, if Reservations is part of RM structure in hotel Reporting on key strategic issues such as channel performance, ROI of promotions etc and ensuring that data entry and output is clean in all relevant Starwood systems such as the Online Revenue Plan Adhere to all standards and procedures as set out in the Talent Handbook and compliance with Starwood s Code of Conduct. Participate in manager on duty programme as per the hotel policyREQUIREMENTS Ability to lead, motivate and develop talent.Be innovative, financially savvy, provide instinctive service and be inspirationalBe well versed in the Aloft Success Profile, Brand Core values & exhibit Human Truths in words, actions and behaviorBe well versed with Starwood success profile & Win with talent competencies
