Responsible for driving business targets for liabilities products (esp. from open market customers) at the SFB branch and associated CSPs & UBRBActively drive conversion of existing customers for liabilities by coaching the sales officers and unsecured branch teamSet weekly/monthly targets for the sales officers, review the set targets on a regular basisGenerate leads for secured loans and third party products from open market liabilityFollow up on leads provided by call centre within defined TATAssess the market potential and give feedback on product modification and new product development to the regional product teamsShare insights on competitor products to the regional product/marketing teamsAct as the dedicated point of contact for the walk in customers; address queries pertaining to liabilitiesExecute the marketing initiatives designed by products & marketing departmentService Quality Ensure customers are educated about the liabilities products offered by UjjivanResolve customer queries/grievances (pertaining to CA/SA, FD / RD, remittances & third party products) escalated from the field staff within specified time frameUndertake initiatives to increase the products per customerOperations Oversee collection of documents for account opening in strict adherence to KYC normsKeep abreast of the changes in policies and guidelines by RBI, ensures his/her team is educated on the changes to ensure strict adherenceConduct joint business calls/field meetings with field staff to convert customers for liabilitiesResponsible for correct storage of client information and any other documentation inclusive internal reports, memos etc.Learning & Performance Coach the branch staff on liabilities products and support them in conversion of existing customers, lead generation and cross selling of deposit productsBuild a team of Liabilities Sales Officers, mentors and motivate them to achieve the targets.Ensure goal-setting, midyear -review and annual appraisal process happens within specified timelines for self and reporteesEstablish and oversee communication system between the asset sales and deposit sales teams to ensure no leakage of leads and seamless customer experienceKEY INTERACTIONS(Who does this position interact with on a regular basis to perform this role?)Internal Interface External InterfaceBranch Team Unsecured Loans (, Field Staff); Secured Loans (Loan Officers); Operations Team BC AgentsRegional Product & Marketing teamState HRPERFORMANCE METRICS Financial/BusinessAverage incremental CASA balance fromExisting customersOpen Market customersNumber of open market liabilities customers sourcedAverage FD/RD balancePercentage of borrowing customers converted as liabilities customers (total conversions/total borrowing customers for the particular branch)Service Quality (Customer)No. of customer grievances escalatedNumber of complaints raised (related to liabilities products)Operational EfficiencyNumber of forms rejected/returned on account of KYC/documentation issuesAverage account opening TAT for liabilitiesLearning & PerformanceTraining man-hours attended for self and teamAdherence to timelines for completion of PMS for self and reporteesROLE REQUIREMENTS Desired Qualification Graduate in Commerce/Business/Economics or related subjects with good analytical and sales skills to be considered.Desired Experience Preferred experience of 2-4 years in banking, sales or collection.FUNCTIONAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Knowledge on liabilities and third party productsBasic Computer knowledge (MS Office, Outlook) / Ease of technology usageSales and marketing skills across multiple productsKYC norms/guidelines for liabilitiesTraining skillsCommunication Skills - fluent in the local language & EnglishBEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES Multiple product selling skillsTime managementCustomer relations managementAchievement/performance orientedPossesses good interpersonal skillsAbility to manage teams and drive performanceWillingness to travel & relocation as per business requirements and career opportunities
