Description_Job Profile-_ 1. Systematically and efficiently call on Key Accounts within Delhi location and report findings and opportunities to the Associate Director of Sales. 2. Pre-qualify and target Key Accounts, utilizing the Delphi database and develop appropriate and effective sales solicitation strategies to increase hotels market share 3. Conduct regular Market Surveys and Competitor Research 4. Enroll Private Line members from the local community commensurate with minimum productivity targets& Issue Private Line newsletters to local market 5. Tracks performance and reviews volume for all Private Line members on a monthly basis. 6. Contact Executives of organization to explain services and facilities offered by hotel and to solicit business. 7. Assists with the preparation of the annual Marketing Business Plan ensuring Divisional Objectives fully address business objectives of the hotel and needs of employees. 8. Handles guest and employee enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, reporting complaints or problems if no immediate solution can be found, whilst feeding back a prompt follow up. 9. Professionally conducts routine telemarketing activities to identify new business opportunities in Delhi. Follows up sales leads to identify prospect. 10. Meets and greets VIP guests upon arrival/departure. 11. Plans and makes Sales trips to the parties concerned which is our current and potential clientele to explore into new business opportunities in Delhi. 12. Entertains and conducts hotel inspections to relevant representatives/delegates whenever required. 13. Establishes strong contacts to source for information in regard to planned and up coming functions/ events.QualificationsMinimum 3 to 4 years work experience as Assistant Sales Manager/Sales ManagerGraduated in Hotel Management / BMS/ MBA in MarketingEssential prerequisite is knowledge of the Travel and Hotel industryWell developed communication and negotiation skillsStrong follow-up/project management and organizational skillsThorough understanding of selling techniques and marketing conceptsWell developed computer skills particularly in the use of Outlook, E-MailComprehensive knowledge of business needs, financial reporting and productivity requirementsFluent English written and spoken, multi-lingual desirable
