The SAP COE Governance Analyst is a member of the Enterprise IT PROCOE SAP team. The Change Analyst is responsible for the management and control of all Changes to the Un1ty SAP production environment with the least possible risk of service level disruption. He/she is responsible for reviewing process and tool compliance for all ITSM processes, with specific focus on coordination of requested SAP application Changes and Releases within the Eaton environment. This position will be remote to the main US based Un1ty governance team and will take direction from the lead Change Analyst of the Un1ty SAP COE team and its Director.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS2.List the essential functions (i.e. key responsibilities with expected end results) which must be accomplished in order to fulfill the purpose of your position as described above. Participates in implementation/enhancement projects for target system using PROLaunch.Partners with business users on requirements, processes & systems.Participates in the entire project lifecycle analysis of proposed process/system changes.Helps manage requirements scope & disposition through process compliance & gap analysis, integration testing & user acceptance methodology.Gathers requirement using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, storyboards, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, event lists, process analysis, competitive product analysis, task and workflow analysis, and/or viewpoints.Management of approved requirements specifications & verification of implementation scope.Provides knowledge & input on system implications of process changes.Completes project related deliverables including future state design documentation and requirements documentation. Participates in unit testing, integration testing support & review of training materials.Supports user acceptance testing events and schedules.Responsible for intermediate level system configurationsPrepares and provides training as required to business process owners and other key stakeholders.Facilitates regression testing for global solutions as needed prior to migrating to productive systemEffectively communicates the status for deliverables to project management and leadership to effectively mitigate risks and resolve issues.Responsible for applying business knowledge and best practices toward solution design for the system.Champions the ITSM Change Management Process and provides training to SAP Unity Change Coordinators, Change Managers and Approvers on an as needed basisReviews and analyzes all SAP COE change requests (CRQs) in Remedy for accuracy and completeness on a daily basisApproves/rejects SAP COE CRQs in Remedy based on practicality and completenessProvides meaningful / actionable feedback (i.e., Change Assessments) as requiredEvaluates the impact and risk of implementing Change to the SAP Un1ty systemRecommends amendments to the ITSM Change Management process as it evolvesProvides PBCs as required by internal / external auditMonitors and reviews post Implementation resultsEnsures adherence to established Eaton Change Management policies and proceduresManages and communicates scheduled Un1ty SAP changes each weekEnsures configuration and development transports are sequenced correctly and coordinates their implementation with the appropriate teamsFacilitates the SAP COE - Quiet Time Deployment call on weekends for disruptive changesExercises good judgment and makes sound business decisions, with minimum supervision based on standard operating procedureManages small projects related to the SAP Un1ty systemsAnalyzes and implements changes to SAP COE processes and documentation to ensure compliance with internal / external auditMonitors SAP COE SLA metrics in Remedy and provides feedback / training as appropriateBasic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements)Basic QualificationsBachelor DegreeMinimum of 4 years relevant experienceCompleted at least one full life-cycle (design, build, test, deploy) project Position CriteriaThree plus years of change and configuration management experience, preferably in a large scale systems operational organizationTwo plus years hands-on experience with RemedyTwo plus years experience with SAP Business Management Software Solutions ApplicationsITIL V3 Certification is a plusProven analytical, problem solving and root cause identification skillsExcellent oral/written communication and active listening skillsA self-starter, demonstrating personal initiative and willingly assumes responsibilityDetail oriented with demonstrated success in managing in a metrics driven cultureAbility to perform multiple projects simultaneously and to adhere to strict deadlinesAble to work effectively with all levels in an organizationMust be a team player with the ability to work with and through othersAbility to influence others and move toward a common vision or goalPreferred QualificationsBachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field of study is preferred
