Job Details

1. Security PricingCompletion and review of the daily pricing of OTC assets, manual price input and price exception validation review for a variety of clients.Ensure price exceptions are fully researched, files contain all necessary back up and details are reported via email to the appropriate teams.Maintain accurate MIS, ensuring statistics are updated on a daily basis confirming volumes, timeliness and accuracy details.Understand the theoretical/technical nature of all OTC securities or where lacking conduct the appropriate research and share findings with the team.Understand the data required for accurate calculation of OTC positions.Ensure the accuracy of the security data on the OTC database.2. Communication & TrainingCandidate will be required to communicate both verbally and in writing with clients, both internal and external.Candidate will be required to complete certain industry specific training courses.Participate in regular team meetings providing updates on relevant developments.Candidate will be expected to present to the team from time to time, on topical issues related to the role.3. Quality ControlOn-going review of operational processes and controls against written procedures and guidelines. Document details and submit any proposed procedural changes to line-management for approval.Ensure audit, client, compliance, management and trustee queries are highlighted, thoroughly investigated and responded to in a timely manner.Ensure Key Performance Indicators of 99.75% accuracy and 97.50% timeliness are achieved and exceeded where possible.Work with line-management streamlining operational processes to reduce risk and improve efficiency. Assist with ad-hoc projects and initiatives to ensure agreed client service levels are met.Candidate would require excellent organizational and judgment skills, and ability to demonstrate his/her proficiency in the use of personal computers, inclusive of Microsoft office applications. Clear understanding of customer service, inclusive of strong time management skills, demonstrating ability to work effectively as a member of a team. Possess an aptitude for detail and strong analytical skills.Strong MS Excel or VB skills.Must have a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.Must have an ability to work under pressure.Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.Dependability, flexibility and the ability to lead by example.Excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills.Prior knowledge of OTC assets beneficial but not essential.
