Description *Credit Risk Middle Office supports the credit approval and decision making processes for the EMEA based Credit Executives (CE ) and Client Credit Managers (CCM ) in Credit Risk (CR )The India team is primarily responsible for the Middle Office processing functions of Line Facilitation, Client Data Management and Annual Review Support.The team operationally spans across all IB lines of businesses and also multiple Credit Risk Portfolios. In addition the roles require significant additional project and change management responsibilities.* *Description of Responsibilities *Process line facilitations for line amendments and new facility creation for non-Traditional Credit Products based on specific instructions from Credit Front Office / Onshore Credit Middle Office Team instructions following defined step by step agreed processing proceduresProcess Annual reviews and reference data set up and where appropriate liaising with the Client Credit Managers to ensure that process has been performed in line with credit policyContribute significantly in BAUPartnering with various support teams on establishing/modifying credit facilities and account linking that require Credit Risk Management involvement.Ability to develop and implement an appropriate control framework and production of MIS and Key Performance IndicatorsAbility to ensure the daily workflow queue has no pending items from India teamAbility to identify knowledge gap (upstream and downstream) within the team and put them through required trainings to address the sameAbility to handle all process escalationResponsible for communicating with locations, attending calls, drive conference calls with locations etc.Responsible for ensuring process documents like SIPOCs, SOPs and documents are created and updated in a timely mannerDrive proactive control environment building and performing effective quality checks/self process auditPrerequisites Graduate/postgraduate with min of 5 yrs of Work exp in back office operations Exposure Credit Risk Management / Operations supporting credit products on wholesale/ IB side would be preferred Good analytical skills and an eye for detail A confident and outgoing disposition, able to deal with direct contact at all levels within the Credit Risk organization all the way up to MDs Pro-active/self-starter. Ability to deliver value-added support to Client Credit Managers and Credit Executives in a timely and accurate manner Flexible team player with the ability to work under pressure and own initiative Strong written and verbal communications and interpretation skills Advanced knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet applications. Should be able to manage & deliver under pressure to firm s standards Attention to Detail, Clarity of risks, control structures, risk management practices. Ability to learn and absorb significant amounts of process knowledge, industry knowledge, product knowledge and use that effectively Strong partnerships skills, ability to influence and negotiate at all levels Demonstrates flexibility and willingly accepts new assignments and challenges in rapidly changing environment thus can be a strong change agent. (Opportunities to step up and outside core responsibilities are regular and varied)
