Seeking a Business Analyst for our CMS Risk Operations group to manage the corporate model inputs, calculation processes, and model outputs to downstream risk experts and process owners. CMS Risk Operations supports Finance and the broader organization by serving as a centralized operations utility that supports the Ameriprise corporate model for decision-support analytics and reporting. The Business Analyst role will work closely with the US-based operations team (and Business Analysts) to1. Maintain a model production utility that provides consistent model inputs and outputs to our end users (e.g. CMS Risk, Treasury, Certificates) to drive informed decision-making and reporting. 2. Continuously manage and enhance processesThis position provides an opportunity for the Business Analyst to be part of an integrated team, to gain exposure to various Finance and Product representatives, and to support complex risk management structures.ResponsibilitiesPartner with Business Analysts (onsite & US-based) to successfully and seamlessly support the corporate model risk processesEnsure controlled corporate model inputs and outputs (handoffs) to risk experts and process owners Responsible for generating complex files (e.g. extracts) and reports/outputManage corporate model processing/job execution (interfacing with Technologys grid operations team)Manage multiple relationships across the organization including team members, input providers, risk experts, process owners, and technology representativesMeasure and manage KPIs related to process deliverablesSupport control processes (e.g. SOX, MAR, and audit) on behalf of risk experts and process ownersChampion and support process enhancements (e.g. model and spreadsheet changes)Maintain process documentationRequired Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Math, or related field. 5 years financial services and analytic experience (supporting business operations and processes) Strong analytical, quantitative and problem-solving skills and ability to use statistical analysis and modeling with associated technology applications. Ability to work on complex data, reports, and processes with many moving parts Ability to create & foster a cooperative team environment Ability to consistently meet established deadlines required Strong relationship and communication skillsPreferred Qualifications Advanced Excel, Access, and Visio experience required. Intermediate data management skills preferred (SQL)
Degree: CA (Chartered Accountant) | MBA/ PGDM
