Responsibilities Handling daily MRP generated demands & exceptions and create Purchase Orders in compliance with source of supply & Info Record for the Spare Parts requirements.Communication with internal customers and stakeholders.Assist to Supply Chain Planning parameters, Maintenance to Purchase Master Data(Purchase Info Records, Source Lists), Quality with NCR (Non Conformity Reporting) towards supplier.Root cause analyses of delays.Effective handling of Exceptions like, overdue, unconfirmed, expedition, defer and cancel orders with suppliers.Effective Follow up on missing order confirmation and missing delivery items.Follow up on Supplier performance and delivery discrepancy from supplier (like Invoice deviation related to Procurement , Credit Notes, Workflow, Purchase Order clean-up.Adherence to P2P (Procure to Pay) process.Participating and Driving continuous Improvement activities on various processes.Communication with internal customers and stakeholders related to process issues.Service and actively communicate with internal stakeholder from all over the world.Contribute to delivering the promised service level to the business.Generate reports to the Management.Handling IDOC failure issuesGR & IR reconciliations & Follow up on Park /Blocked Invoices Education Bachelors or Masters degree.12+ years of relevant experience is Supply Chain in the capacity of a Senior Buyer.Proficient in Microsoft Office Package required (Very good experience with Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint) and SAP.Knowledge in ERP/MRP, SAP, Supplier Management.Knowledge on other Foreign Languages like German, French, Italian or Spanish are an added advantage.Lean & Six Sigma Training preferred.CompetenciesGood Analytical skills and thorough knowledge on buyer roles.Should have proven capabilities in adapting to various Working Cultures.Demonstrated ability to work in a cross-functional and team environment.Needs to be Proactive and selfdriven.Capacity to take up responsibilities individually without prompting.Needs to take up Decisions Independently.Ability to analyze data and make recommendations to drive improvementsGood communication skills in English both written and oral.Flexible regarding work hours due to sites in Europe and US.Structured and organized.Outgoing and polite towards our stakeholders.Need to be a Go-Getter.Team player with good Interpersonal skills.
