Lead compliance integration and planning efforts for areas of overlap and synergy with the modalities in Healthcare business globally.Essential Responsibilities Operating Mechanisms & Processes - Support the Business Leadership in maintainingappropriate processes and operating mechanisms to ensure that the covered businesses/P&Lsmeet all GE policy compliance & regulatory excellence responsibilities. Run Compliance ReviewBoards (CRB ) at each business level and provide inputs into the broader compliance program forthe global business/region.Acquisitions and JVs Support compliance integration efforts for Channel Partners bycreating awareness and setting up process related to compliance and open reporting program.Leadership engagement - Drive a pro-active Compliance leadership and engagement program toensure that business leaders are responsible and accountable for policy, regulatory excellenceand other compliance initiatives. Enhance measurements and dashboards to provide theLeadership team with appropriate indicators of compliance health. Support business leadership indriving the open reporting program and conducting risk roll up discussions with employees. Risk assessment and remote sites- Coordinate with global Compliance leadership and implementbusiness risk assessment initiative and drive mitigation plans arising therefrom. Review andaddress remote site risks by creating awareness through employee engagement efforts,monitoring concerns and assessing operations at these sites.Compliance trends and regulatory compliance - Monitor internal and external compliance trendsin India, including compliance initiatives, industry compliance failures and applicable, industryspecific regulatory requirements. Support to Ombuds - Coordinate with region/global business Ombudsperson and local ombuds tosupport concern reporting system, leading or assisting with investigations, as required, andensuring matters are closed quickly and appropriate actions takenTraining & Communication - Provide training support to the business on GE s Spirit & Letter, otherregional and business policies, regulatory excellence and other compliance initiatives and issues,including, for example, coordinating with the global team compliance team to manage thebusiness third parties, including due diligence, on-boarding, training and auditing. Testing & Monitoring - Coordinate with relevant business owners to conduct regular audits ofCompliance areas and support business in driving requisite improvements/resolutions for issuesidentified. Provide independent testing and review as may be required.Process assessment - Coordinate with relevant business owners to identify and resolveCompliance-related procedural issues and areas of improvement and ensure remediation actionsplans are established, implemented and tracked through to closure. Business /Region compliance priorities - Coordinate with Global business Compliance leadersand Region Compliance organization to roll out and implement compliance prioritiesAny other responsibilities that may be identified by the business and/or managers from time totimeQualifications/Requirements A minimum of 4 years risk mitigation, compliance, full-time Ombuds, audit, or other relevantexperience. Overall experience of 10+ years. Compliance, legal, quality or finance audit backgroundand experience in relevant business lines is highly desirable.Knowledge of, or experience with, compliance issues, such as controllership,anti-corruption/FCPA, anti-money laundering, conflict of interest, supplier relationships and privacy Experience in leading and handling critical investigations including implementation of correctiveactions by the management.Previous experience in (a) identifying and resolving compliance issues, including regulatoryissues, quickly and effectively and ability to make informed management calls with proven abilityto drive operational excellence; and (b) developing and implementing compliance policies,processes and procedures Technical Knowledge- Strong grasp of code of conduct, business ethics policies and currentcompliance practices and industry standards in a relevant services space. Strong businessacumen, ability to detect emerging compliance and industry trends and develop appropriateresponsesStrong interpersonal skills with ability to interface with cross -functional teams, management andfront-line associates Self-motivated with high energy and personal integrity. Ability to operate with due discretion,confidentiality, objectivity and independence.Demonstrable verbal and written fluency in English. Superior communication skills, including theability to effectively and efficiently communicate in writing and orally, the capability to think clearlyand quickly under pressure, the composure to satisfy multiple and often competing interests andability to share lessons learned with teammates.
