Primary RoleThe Cost Accountat is responsible for providing support to the organization by leveraging their financial and accounting skills to successfully manage areas of inventory and sales related data. This individual will work closely with Operations and Senior ManagementResponsibilitiesCost accounting activities, which include but is not limited toPrepares and directs the implementation of cost accounting methods and activities.Be responsible for managing and maintaining standard costing systemProvide costing and pricing information on new and existing products.Prepare Tax Returns, Balance Sheets, Profit and Loss StatementsPrepare and monitor Insurance StatementsManage procurement process, probity, independence and auditsTake active measures to implement policy of Zero Fraud and CorruptionPrepare and assist with Financial documents required for tenders and business proposalsPrepare cost accounting reports for presentation to managementPrepare Invoices, Review Contracts and Inputs required for InvoicesFollow up for PaymentsSubmit Receivables each month and manage cashflowMonitoring low margin items and provide reporting monthly basisEstablish/maintain product costing standards including preparation of labour and overhead rates and material standardsAssisting in the development, managing and auditing cycle count programAccounting for material, labour and overhead variancesReview and approval of plant productivity statistics and preparation of various reportsCalculate, review and forecast margins and budget ratesSupport the pricing team to ensure that it is producing high quality, accurate and timely pricing information for the organizationDevelop a pricing strategy appropriate to a high quotation throughout the organizationDemonstrate ability to create, change and influence change in organizationsMaintain and enhance internal accounting controlsSupport the review of internal and external auditAdhere to company integrity program and ethics policyAnalyse inventory for slow moving and potential obsolete itemsReview and analyse inventory obsolescence reserveOther tasks as determined necessary to the job functionVerification of Invoices and documentations. Maintaining of Bills Receivable and Bills Payables, Purchase and Sales Department, Admin works, Cost Controlling.
Degree: CA (Chartered Accountant) | ICWA

Additional Degree: BA (Arts) | B.Com. (Commerce) | B.Pharm. (Pharmacy) | B.Plan. (Planning) | B.Sc. (Science) | BBA/ BBM/ BBS | BCA (Computer Application) | Diploma-Other Diploma | B.Ed. (Education) | BHM (Hotel Management)
