Responsible for availability of the webMethods production environment as per SLA.Responsible for fixing any production issue within defined SLA.Will be on call over the weekend and be available to help team members in off hours.Should be capable of applying patches required for resolving any product related bug.Flexible enough to work in shifts.Support team members and technically own any production critical issue.Mentoring the team members for any critical production issue including analysis, design, development, testing, etc. Conducting Lead reviews for design and development for enhancements.To provide effort estimate of webMethods work from given high level design/specifications.Responsible for delivery for bug fixes and enhancements as per defined quality and agreed timelines for the fixes or enhancements.Take responsibility for owning a problem and finding a resolution to it to an agreed SLA.Managing all new integrations and ensuring their supportability.Maintain configuration management and release managementRoot Cause Analysis accompanying documentation.Fully responsible for testing and deployment of the integrations including unit testing, system testing, and UAT.Ensuring creation and maintenance of relevant documentation such as release notes, bug reports, support guides to enable the integration to be supported smoothly.Responsible for maintenance of existing integrations, fixing known bugs and to make changes as required in projectsAdditional ResponsibilitiesKeep up-to-date on the webMethods integration platform.Keep up to date on Integration Server, Broker Server, My WebMethods Server, Web Services, Trading Network, BPM.Keep up-to-date on emerging technologies related to Java/J2EEIdentify potential improvements for integrationsSuccessful Implementation of solutions, projects, enhancements, issues, etc. with respect to required quality and timelines.Minimum of 3 to 5 years of total experience in application support & development, with a minimum of 2 year of Java experience, including J2EE, XML, and database knowledge of SQL, and minimum of 4 years integration experience using webMethods 6.5/7.1/8.2/9.x, is essential. The environment is Linux, and prior experience in Linux is also desirable.Experience in Integration Server, Broker Server, My WebMethods Server, Web Services, Trading Network, BPM would be preferable. Skills/QualificationsB.E/B.Tech/MCA/M.Sc./M.Tech with minimum of 5 years of total experience in application development/integration, with a minimum of 2 year of Java experience, including J2EE, XML, and database knowledge of SQL, and minimum of 4 years integration experience using webMethods 6.5/7.1/8.2, is essential.Experience in Integration Server, Broker Server, My WebMethods Server, Web Services, Trading Network, BPM would be preferable.Must be highly customer focused and understand the customers service requirementsExcellent time management skills and ability to prioritise workload, according to SLA s and defined deadlinesExperience of problem analysis and resolutionSelf-control under pressureAble to work on own initiativeAbility to manage resources and workload in multiple projects effectively, Team PlayerLiaise effectively with other teams where necessaryFlexible in approach, and prepared to assist other technical disciplines to resolve support issuesExcellent analysis skills and foresight / understanding of production Support issues.Ability to manage incidents to completion and appropriately document the incident for future reference and closure of the feedback loop to the consumer.Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to deal to work well in a multi-cultural environmentUsed to independent and self-motivating working styleWilling to work extended India working hours close to EU working hours (as required) Successful applicants must have prior experience in similar role, along with excellent problem solving skills, strong implementation skills as well design and development skills, able to work in a structured environment and familiar with the concepts and tools necessary for version control and release management. Should be capable for multi-tasking. Previous experience of working in a Telecoms environment would be preferable but not essential.It is a customer facing role so candidate will need perfect communication skills as well as the ability to judge when to escalate problems.The individual must be able to work on own initiative, and is responsible for setting procedures, documentation and guidelines for Integration team. The successful applicant will be able to deal with all levels of the business. Liaison with other technical teams will be required to resolve local support issues and ensure a professional level of support to the user base.
