Job DimensionsFinancial Lead and provide direction to the Analytics Team Responsible for Business Development for the Analytics Team P&L mindset and co-ownership of P&L for Analytics vertical (alongwith KS Director)Non Financial Responsible for Developing an Analytics Centre of Excellence within the company Responsible for building the Analytics Team in the company, Business Development, building vision for the team, building competency in Analytics within the companyOverall Job Purpose Responsible for Developing an Analytics Centre of Excellence within company (Analytics CoE synonymous with Analytics team consists of multiple smaller sub-teams dedicated to a particular function / geography / work area) Ensure timely delivery of projects while ensuring excellent project quality Managing adequate resourcing levels for the team and ensuring effective work allocation Building a vision for the team and counselling and capability development of senior talent within the team Stakeholder management and business developmentAccountabilities/Responsibilities Manage and build the Analytics CoE in the company consisting of multiple teams as mentioned above Lead and provide direction to the Analytics Team Service delivery responsibility for all projects in Analytics Managing various sub teams within the Analytics Vertical Ensuring quality and timely delivery of all projects To Identify Business Development opportunities for Analytics Responsible for Stakeholder Management Responsible in increasing the internal skills capability within the Analytics team Compliance To ensure that you understand and adhere to the companys Code of Conduct and, where appropriate, comply with all relevant regulatory policies. This includes completion of any mandatory training requirements Financial Controls Ensure all expenditure commitments (orders, contracts, budgets etc) and all payments are properly authorised, controlled and monitored, in accordance with the company delegated authority requirements. The responsibilities of expenditure authorisers are documented in the company Financial Procedures Manual Performance Management To ensure the delivery of People Management and that all its processes and tools are fully utilised in managing your people Demonstrate a positive risk, compliance and control culture through the identification, assessment, monitoring and management of risks and issues within the business area, alongside ensuring timely and appropriate resolution of control weaknesses, actions and failures that ariseCompetence / Knowledge / Skills required 10-15 years experience in Analytics managing offshore teams across Modelling, Reporting and Analysis projects Prior experience in leading an Analytics team drawn from the Leading institutes of India like the IITs, B Schools, JNU etc. is desirable Prior experience in the Insurance industry/Financial Services Prior experience with Business Development in the field of Analytics Prior experience in transitioning projects from client s to India Project Management skills Sound Technical Knowledge to be able to guide new project Teams
Degree: M.Com. (Commerce) | M.Pharm. (Pharmacy) | M.Sc. (Science) | MA (Arts) | MBA/ PGDM | MCA/ PGDCA
