The Assurance & Risk Management Services (ARMS) organization is a team of 50 audit professionals located across ~10 sites worldwide. The group is responsible for delivering high quality objective and independent assurance over the Companys key business risks to the Audit Committee and Management in a cost effective way and consistent with Professional Standards. Reflecting the Company s core value of continuous improvement, the ARMS team is in the process of moving toward wider coverage of operational risks, exploring more efficient audit approaches and industry best practices where appropriate. The Senior Manager of Audit for IT will have specific responsibility for defining and executing the audit plan within the IT function in accordance with professional best practices, and will assist the Senior Director and Vice President of ARMS and the leadership team in driving department wide transformation programs and the strategic direction for the global team. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES / DUTIES Define the Data Analytics (DA) plan for ARMS, based on thorough understanding of our business and risk exposures and incorporating an integrated approach with Operational and IT audit Plan and oversee the implementation of the DA strategy, manage DA staff, scope and plan DA work as it would relate to Audits, Management Requests, Investigations and various other ARMS/business driven DA initiatives Be ARMS s DA SME and help build a DA Center of Excellence Oversee the execution of the DA plan, deliver high quality, efficient and timely audit work in accordance with the Internal Audit charter, IIA standards and professional best practices Contribute to the overall Risk Assessments process performed within ARMS Add value through great communication and alignment with ARMS senior management Work closely with the Compliance teams on SOX/other audit scoping, planning and execution Manage hiring and talent management for the DA team as needed (across multiple sites) Drive efficiencies in our approach to do more with less Drive the professional development of the ARMS team, including benchmarking, training, certification and engagement in IIA/DA forums Coach and mentor members of your team and take a personal interest in their career aspirations PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED At least 8 years of core DA experience, using core DA technologies like Tableau, MicroStrategy, SQL, ACL, IDEA, etc. At least 5 to 7 years of Core experience in defining, scoping, planning and executing DA strategies and engagements (1) taking requirements and turning those in to actual testing/searching mechanisms (2) core understanding of data structures, (3) basic understanding of typical business processes, (4) ability to create what-if scenarios, (5) build reports and usable/repeatable mechanisms to leverage for future work, (6) create a platform using some of the aforementioned technologies to allow general auditors to use basic DA functions etc (7) train other auditors on DA tools and techniques Excellent knowledge of DA best practices and emerging trends Exposure to internal audit in an international manufacturing environment General understanding of IT General Controls, Application controls, IT SOX, IT processes, controls, platforms and systems Great people management skills able to motivate, lead and performance manage individuals in a diverse team Effective communicator, relationship builder and a manager of expectations
