Strategy, Governance and ProcessDevelop and implement the regional strategic operational process ensuring global strategies reflect regional and local requirementsCreate a framework of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to drive process improvement and standardization across the region.Establish and lead the APAC Orthopedic council to drive operational excellence and provide a forum to share best practice across the region resulting in improvements in cost, reliability and customer service.Develop and implement a regional innovations register to capture and enable future improvement opportunities, leveraging the Global Orthopedic Council to identify and replicate operational best practices within Asia Pacific.Solutions and Improvement OpportunitiesCollaborate with the Global COE to develop and implement a regional dashboard to drive insights to delivery, cost, performance and productivity.Identify Orthopedics cost improvement opportunities across Asia Pacific with focus in Japan and Australia.Engage with cluster leads to identify and implement advanced inventory management and ordering solutions with target customers. ImplementationsDrive all improvement programs to ensure on time and on budget executions with no service disruptions.Ensure timely rollout of the revised loan kit standard across the Asia Pacific Region.KEY MEASURESThe position will be measured primarily onAchievement in the implementation of the strategic operational strategyAttainment of Cost improvement targets (CIPs).On-Time delivery of project and program milestones.Final project objectives (FPOs) achievements Loan Kit Standard, CIP pipeline & Standard operating proceduresEffective collaboration with stake holders (3PL, regional & local CLS teams, Support Functional teams).QualificationsREQUIRED COMPETENCIES AND SKILLSBachelor Degree in Business Administration Supply chain Management or EngineeringMinimum of 8 years of experience in Supply Chain, Orthopedics and Project Management.Experience working in a highly matrix, global organization is critical for success.Multi sector experience preferred.Strong business acumen and understanding of the end to end supply chain.Strong leadership, collaboration, influencing and interpersonal skills.Demonstrate the ability to think strategically and implement approved strategies to drive value.Knowledge of quality/compliance, supply chain, operations, and logistics highly desired.Analytical and process oriented, with strong decision making / problem-solving skills.Results oriented and able to independently create and deliver; self-starter / entrepreneurial.Strategic / big picture oriented thinking and good communication skills required with ability to work with local site teams and senior leadership.Flawless Project Execution (FPX) methodology experienceProcess Excellence skills & experience (Lean / Six Sigma)
Degree: MBA/ PGDM
