Job Details

Oversee processing and settlement of all domestic and international transactions for all products and security types. Oversee matching and confirmation of domestic, foreign and FX trades and instruct Custodians and 3rd parties. Monitor unmatched and failed trade reports and ensure timely resolution. Work closely with all the Trading teams to resolve any trade questions or corrections. Perform oversight on sub-advised and Columbia Threadneedle fail reports and overdraft balances. Ensure timely and accurate Trade Error and Class Action processing. Manage prime broker processes including collateral monitoring, administrator correspondence, oversight, etc. Coordinate country documentation opening process and oversight. Manage relationships with brokers, custodian, prime brokers, vendors and sub-advisors. Maintain Settlements Instruction database with broker instructions. Partner with other teams on Client on-boarding and new fund launches. Provide support for various projects for the Product and Sales teams, Compliance and other departments. Ensure procedures are established and controls are followed to prevent errors and delays. Work with both internal and external parties / stakeholders to share information, resolve problems and improve processes/procedures. Work with Technology to coordinate and test software installations / updates, problem-solving, application development and other efforts. Provide quality service and information to partners/clients. Act as contact for Sarbanes-Oxley and other internal or external regulatory tasks. Provide information and answer questions for various audits; External Auditors, SEC, Internal Audit, State Examiners.Leadership Responsibilities Hire staff and provide work direction India and UK. Guide staff in identifying career objectives and development plans. Ensure appropriate resource allocation of daily work and reports. Develop and maintain working knowledge and understanding of the staffs tasks and responsibilities. Support and provide on the job training and coaching to staff and peers. Work with staff to deal with changes resulting from new organization, systems, regulations, security types, turnover, job responsibility changes, and readiness to handle the increasing complexity of Global Operations. Identify individual goals/objectives and manage related performance. Support, participate and contribute to department and corporate-wide initiatives and projects.
Degree: MBA/ PGDM
