As the Senior Predix Products Engagement Leader, you will elevate how we engage with internal and external software businesses. You will be accountable for driving successful delivery of products from GE Digital, making recommendations on extending software solutions, and representing General Electric to the outside market, including customers, partners and analysts. Additionally you will Proactively drive portfolio and investment decision to balance customer needs, install base requirements (refresh) and long term enterprise differentiation. Evangelizes concepts beyond current offerings and considers business model innovation (product, service and delivery innovations) Identify market opportunities, factor/influence market trend, define/manage requirements, establish/refine product management processes and be a domain/business expert for the portfolio to guide teams Understand competitive pricing, industry norms and trends, business implications and influence on consumption behavior Leverage overall portfolio and product strategy to create a detailed product plan tailored for balancing internal productivity and customer facing solutions Synthesizing and prioritizing requirements from GE Customers (internal and external) and writing detailed functional and non-functional requirements, functional stories and detailed use cases for new product features Conduct, participate in value discovery sessions, predix and applications overview sessions and act as Predix/Applications Expert and spend time with customers gathering feedback and then inject that feedback into the design cycle. Assist and collaborate Solution Architecture with cross functional teams. Work cross-functionally across engineering, marketing, sales, internal and external customers, analysts and senior management teams to formulate and execute the product strategy Establish and manage relationship across GE businesses & sub-businesses, partners and customers and technical experts levels across industries and geographies Establish strong working relationship with account managers, technical sales and user/developer community Deliver business & technical sales collaterals (such as value proposition, how to sell, RoI analysis, competitive analysis, data sheet, product overview, FAQ, recorded demos, webinars) Responsible for understanding customer requirements and challenges for a portfolio of products, and work with product management team to prioritize About 30-40% of the time to travel within India and globallyQualifications/RequirementsBasic Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or in STEM Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) A Minimum of 5 years of technical experience on cloud platform PaaS/SaaS A minimum of 13 years of software industry experience minimum with proven track record Must be willing to travel.Desired CharacteristicsTechnical Expertise Familiar with software architecture and design, controls algorithms applied to the embedded and/or real-time systems Hands-on experience in cloud based platform and applications design, development, and testing Hands-on experience on Java/Python/C/C++ based platforms and applications At least 2 years of experience working in an agile process and development Business Acumen Strong business analysis, problem solving, and strategy development skills Evangelizes new technology, predicts trends, and identifies new opportunities based on trends Identifies the customer s business and strategic needs, concerns, and desires for the value delivery capabilities of the products Establishes relationships in the market intelligence and research community Ability to interact at all levels of the organization and with other GE businesses Good presentation and communication skills Leadership Adopts a holistic systems perspective. Empathizes with multiple points of view. Challenges program/product planning assumptions Ability to work with cross-functional teams to help build effective processes Strong oral and written communication skills Builds direct and "behind the scenes" support for ideas, and leverages chains of indirect influence Personal Attributes Proactively engages with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and design solutions using critical thinking and analytical skills and best practices Able to re-appropriate existing solutions to new requirements and situations Emotional Intelligence, ability to influence up and out Accountable for policy decisions with incomplete, conflicting information and uncertain long-term dynamics Good team player
