Mandatory RequirementMinimum of 8 to 10 years experience as a Product ManagerKey ResponsibilitiesAs Senior Product Manager, you are responsible for managing entire product-lifecycle for existing and new product development as well as enhancement initiatives. You translate marketplace needs and engineering innovation into cohesive short-term and long-term plans and own both tactical and strategic implementation of the plans. As part of your role, you serve as internal and external product-expert and provide detailed information to support Sales and Customers.Job DescriptionOwn products from vision through product life-cycleBig-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a realityMust enjoy spending time in market to understand customer s problems/pain-points and find innovative solutions for broader marketManaging entire product life-cycle - Strategic Planning to tactical activitiesWork with customers and sales to drive successful introduction of product(s) to market thus shaping and/or championing new direction for a product line or product-family.Responsible for researching technological developments and trends, analyzing and understanding competitors strengths and weaknesses, their products as well as potential partner-relationships for product along with Business DevelopmentSpecifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers.Define and manage long-term product roadmapInfluence Engineering team and Executive Management, drive product-priorities and lead cross-functional product teams for execution of Roadmap and Product-releases.Manages collection & definition of candidate features & functions across all cross-functional areas resulting in Product Requirements Document (PRD), having detailed, crisp business requirements and user storiesDevelop collateral to communicate product value proposition to customers/analystsProven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority as well as a passionate leader.Travel about 25% - domestic and/or international for client demo/discussionDesired Skills8+ years Product Management experience, with demonstrated success in product definition and launching excellent productsProduct Management, design experience with a focus on software productsSignificant experience in requirements elicitation, fit/gap analysis and preparation of functional design documents; as the job entails translation of business requirement into functional and non-functional requirement to project development teamStrong technical aptitudeFamiliarity with UI design best practicesProven ability to identify opportunities for process and system improvements either in existing designs or by adopting new functionalities in the productAbility to engage and influence stakeholders ensuring stakeholder adoption;Proven ability to understand complex situations, tasks or problems, analyze them using a systematic approach and identify patterns and connections between situations that are not inherently obviousHigh degree of flexibility and Whatever-it-Takes attitudeAbility to think on ones feet, and make timely and well-thought-out decisions even when there s lack-of-dataExcellent written & verbal communication skillsStrong collaboration skills, analytical, structured and strategic thinking with strong belief in teamworkEnthusiasm for startup environment - Entrepreneurial drive and demonstrated ability to achieve stretch-goals in an innovative and fast-paced environmentExcellent problem-solving, organizational and analytical skills, with ability to swim in ambiguity and evolve product-strategy based on research, data and industry trendsHigh Confidence levels, ability to take ownership & accountability with focus on the end result.
