Primary Role Deliverables- Should have at least 6-8 years of hands-on experience in Functional testing- Have strong understanding of the SDLC and Testing life cycle- Experience working on Quality Center (or similar product)- Experienced in doing test estimation, test planning and designing- Exposed to Onsite/Offshore model and can articulate things properly to the state side partners- Defect lifecycle, triaging and metrics collection and reporting- Working Knowledge and understanding of relational databases- Take part in the planning, estimation and implementation of testing activities- Able to write simple to complex queries with exposure to database testing- Proven Experience in functional testing of web-based/client-server applications and backend testing- Prepare test plan documents and write test procedures, and implement test plans within current guidelines by analyzing project requirement documents- Experience working with test automation tools/frameworks- Experience working with keyword driven and data-driven automation frameworks- Experience analyzing applications/scripts to be automated, and ability to identify gaps in test coverage- Understanding of, and ability to document high quality manual scripts that effectively feed automation- Ability to learn, execute and maintain automated scripts using Wells Fargo automation frameworks, and to support analysis of results/failures- Knowledge of Agile methodology- Working knowledge/understanding of AGILE test automation tools, frameworks and concepts such as TDD, BDD, API-layer testing, Shift Left- Experience in coordinating vendor activities related to large system setup, file transmissions, batch processing etc.- Proven experience in analyzing requirements, develop test cases, execute and defect reporting.- Experience working with MS Windows XP, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with quick adaptation to new technologies, methodologies, and systemsKnowledge of SDLC/STLC- Exposure to other testing flavors such as database / ETL will be an added advantage- BA/BS in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering and/or other related discipline or equivalent experienceSecondary Role Deliverables- Working knowledge and/or basic programming experience.- Strong Communication skills (written and verbal), organizational skills.- Excellent analytical & interpersonal skills.- Ability to work in a team.- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.- Ability to interact with all levels of staff within the organization.- Ability to work under pressure and tight timelines.- Detail oriented.- Brokerage and/or Financial Services Industry Knowledge.
