Reporting into the Test Lead/Test Manager, the applicant will be responsible for the followingFor the individual work packages, support the Test Lead/test manager by contributing to the test plans, suggesting test methodologies, the test readiness reviews, test progress reporting, the test completion/summary Reports and test defect reportsPrepare test conditions, test scripts, expected results, test coverage analysis and define risk based analysis for a given testing effortWork closely with business analysis team when preparing test scripts and conditionsExecute test conditions and maintain a record of test outputs including list of defects and actions for resolutionPlay a lead role in the analysis and reporting of test results, working closely with business, technology and support areas to investigate and interpret test findings.Key DeliverablesDevelop and extend collaborative working relationships with senior clients, technology suppliers and operational support areas in order to quickly understand requirements, resolve problems/issues, suggest solutions and identify areas for service improvementAs a member of the testing team, participate in the review of ToRs for given work packages, peer reviews of test approaches and phase test plans, test conditions and test scripts as well as contributing to the on-going improvementsMaintain requirement traceability and coverage matrixThe RequirementsPerson SpecificationEssentialExperience in writing a test planExperience in writing detailed, structured test scripts using best practice design principlesExperience in providing experience estimations for a set of modules/project and suggesting resource planExposure to test management and automation tools, such as QC, JIRABasic SQL programming skillsExperience of manual and database testing throughout full development lifecycleDesirableAbility to present complex information in a clear and concise mannerAbility to work with limited supervision, using own initiative and providing leadership when neededFlexible approach to work commitmentsShould be able to prioritize tasks and work independently.QTP knowledge would be beneficialOther AttributesGood team playerKeen learner and motivated individualEffective verbal and written communication skill.Ability to work in teams in collaboration with business SMEsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsFlexible with the ability to multitaskAble to learn new technology and application quickly
Degree: MCA/ PGDCA | ME/ M.Tech./ MS (Engg/ Sciences)
