Installation and Service Activity Planning Overseeing initial installation and commissioning of Storage Systems (InServs); Planning and effectuating capacity upgrades and varied maintenance schedules for existing equipment based on client specifications.Operations Executing schedules for hardware service activities on systems in accordance with Logistical data, Technical documentation and interaction with multiple teams to meet client-deadlines. Scheduling of InServ Firmware Upgrades and Patch Installations both intrusive and non-intrusiveClient Relationship Management Providing support to clients with completing technical documentation [Systems Assurance document, Physical Planning Manual etc.] which is pivotal towards the installation of a new system. Understanding the ergonomics of a particular schedule and interfacing with clients, cultivating relations with them for securing repeat business.Key ExperiencePlanning field service activities including installation of all new systems; upgrades on existing systems; relocations [within the same state (area)/cross country]; de-installations.Coordinating between the sales team, internal technical groups, logistics team, and HP-3PAR customers.Assisting the customer in getting Systems Assurance Document completed in accordance with the technical specifications of the storage system.Handling the reports such as installation trackers, scheduled service activity reports.Assessing whether all the technical paperwork required for an installation is in place for the Remote Deployment Specialist who supports the onsite field engineer.Managing Dead On Arrival/Miss Shipments/Short Shipment.Adding SPs and Custodians to Collector Server through tool called AxedaHelp standardize process for the installation of systems.Help streamline existing process for hardware and Software service activities in conjunction with multiple teams across regions.
