Primarily responsible for the application management and knowhow within the company.2. Provide first line application support to internal and external customers.3. Responsible for the management of application lab and all the instruments and calibration standards in the lab.4. Supporting sales engineers on field in case of new applications and by measuring customer samples in lab and generating the report with necessary measurement results and recommending the right instrument for the application.5. To support engineers on field in terms of installation and application support for the high end instruments or for new and complex applications.6. Providing training to new engineers on products and applications.7. Interface between FIAG application department and FIND.8. Circulate new applications, sales or service circulars with sales and service team members.9. Attending exhibitions, tradeshows, seminars etc.and trainings.10. Assist in proposing right instruments and part codes for the quotation.11. Publish application notes of local applications and customers on regular basis.12. Collaborate withcompany sSwitzerland and Germany application team to build the local application knowledge base and transfer the knowhow to all sales and service engineers.13. Maintain necessary standards and instruments required for the lab and ensure traceability and validity of the standards in use.14. Testing customer samples and generating reports.15. Contributing to the global application lab database by publishing important and new applications results.16. Perform round robin tests as and when required as per the set guidelines and within stipulated time frame.17. Interaction on regular basis with field engineers (sales and service) to understand their knowledge base and propose training needs as and when required.18. Propose improvements both hardware and software to R&D to initiate the product upgrades or development of new products.19. Keep an eye on the new applications in the market and propose solutions for the same.20. Build good rapport and confidence with key customers.21. To be team player and work towards achieving company s set goals and targets.AuthoritySigning authority on behalf of the company in following cases1. Application/Service/Installation Reports.2. On site customer training reports.3. MOM with the customers.4. Introduction Letters and General Communication with the customers.5. Training Certificates.6. Sample testing reports and corrective calibration certificates.7. Tests carried out in the lab for internal circulation.
