Advisor Production Services (APS) is a key role in supporting the global Asset Management business of Fidelity Investments. The APS support associate will be responsible for ensuring all systems are up and running, data availability, batch cycle management, application health, incident triaging, problem management, and release/change implementation. The associate will be responsible for working in a global team structure and ensure mission critical deliverables are met within deadlines. The associate will be taking ownership and will drive incidents and other deliverables to closure during India shift and on-call coverage hours.Monitoring overnight batch cycles, triaging incidents with utmost urgency ensuring cycle completion within the defined SLAAnalyze code (PL/SQL, Perl, Shell script) to troubleshoot and propose long term solutionsProvide prompt support for Trading, Portfolio Management and Research applications used by Asset Management businessCollaborate with a diverse set of stakeholders and cross-functional teams to drive production stability deliverablesProactively identify improvement opportunities, automate routine tasks and implement new ideas to increase efficiency and productivityLeverage past experience in Production Support to effectively drive Incident, Problem, Release and Change Management and continuously exceed customer expectationsDemonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills while working with the team in daily operations including resolution of data quality issues, analysis of system functionality, responding to system alerts, business queries and report requestsDrive Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity effortsQualifications Bachelors degree in Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 6 years of work experience Behavioral attributesVery strong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to perform in a fast-paced and time bound delivery oriented work environmentHighly detail oriented, accurate, and organizedStrong desire to enhance technical and domain knowledgeMust be flexible and comfortable with changeTeam player with excellent interpersonal skills Oracle PL/SQL - Expertise in writing PL/SQL code, Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers etcUnix/Linux Expertise in drive and file navigation, manipulation and other basic commands such as vi, emacs, awk, sed, loops etc.Write Shell/PERL scripts proficientlyMust have extensive Automation experienceHands-on experience with Autosys is a mustInformatica or any similar ETL toolWindows - Commands, batch files and scriptingHP SiteScope, HPOO, Splunk, Dynatrace, OBIEE
