Describe the broad function and scope of the position Information Systems (IS) professional responsible for system activities within the MTI (Materials to Inventory) or Manufacturing business process area. This includes the analysis, design, and implementation of Manufacturing solutions to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Manufacturing plants aligned with corporate strategies. Colleague will work in a cross-functional environment and will work closely with Global / Regional IS, BPE (Business Process Excellence), and IL6S (Integrated Lean Six Sigma) teams to optimize both SAP and integrated non-SAP systems and processes. Position will require both strong technical skills and business acumen to facilitate/support the development/implementation of technology and capability changes in Manufacturing Systems. Position must understand integration points within an integrated ERP system (i.e. SAP ECC) and Shop Floor Systems. Good working knowledge of SAP, SAP BI/BW, Plant-based systems, and Automation/Control systems is preferred.The Asset Reliability area is a sub-area of the Global Manufacturing area and is responsible for managing and implementing the Applications/Solutions for the Global, Regional, and Category Manufacturing. Some of these applications include SAP Plant Maintenance (SAP PM), SAP Materials Management/Inventory Management (SAP MM/IM), IoT (Internet of Things), Preventative Maintenance systems.The Solution Process Expert has a deep understanding of the business process and the solutions implemented in support of a process or sub process. May have expertise in one or more sub processes. Acts as a liaison to the global / regional functional team for their areas of accountability.
