The team is responsible for accounting and maintenance of marketing projects spend tracking through Project Systems and reports.2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESJob Summary (Role Summary)Perform creation and maintenance of marketing projects in the Projects System, and the financial accounting, support, and related analysis for corporate offices through the coordination of accounting and finance functions within India BSC.Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Key Activities, maximum 4 activities)Process Tracking of timely closure of cases assigned through service now to ensure 100% SLA. To Interact with Counterparts in regional offices in AMER, EMEA and APAC on regular basis. Recommend process improvements along with implementation after consulting regional teams to ensure that global accounting practices are implemented across regions. Trend Analysis- Qualitative Ensuring that open item listing is kept at minimum by regular follow-up with requesters/business support teams. Support SOX and all other relevant Financial Audits Others Prepare and ensure Desk Instructions are up to date Identify process improvement areas after discussion with all the stakeholders and implementation. Ensure proper backup plan in place. Executing all deliverables per SLA & other related tasks on day to day basis QualificationsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Required Skills/QualificationsCA(I)/CMA(I)/M.Com with 1 + year or B.Com with 3 + years of experience including finalization of Accounts, General Ledger Accounting possessing and Good Analytical skills. Accounting KnowledgeGood Accounting knowledge and the ability to apply them to the company's Accounting practices.Technical KnowledgeGood knowledge of relevant Systems and applications used in accounting function like PeopleSoft. Conversant with MS Office, ERP exposure Depth and Breadth of Business KnowledgeGood knowledge of the business necessary to perform process activities.Relevant Accounting / Management PolicyGood knowledge & understanding of the key policies impacting the process. Control and Compliance SkillsGood understanding of checks and controls and execute all deliverables per SLA & other related tasks on day to day basisAnalytical SkillsApplication of basic checks and balances for process improvement, exceeding customer expectation, compliance adherence etc Other SkillsCommunication - Possess good communication skills and overall a pleasing personalityFlexibility - Flexible to work in multiple shifts- Ability to work in cross functional teams, across multiple locations & cultures 3.
