Job RequirementsResponsible to provide configuration, quoting, and order management support for Oracle hardware and Cloud services.Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Performs own role independently within defined policies and procedures. Attention to detail critical. Ability to analyze, collect, organize, and display data in various formats. Follow-through skills necessary to get information from cross-functional teams and have data errors/omissions corrected. Relationship management skills are required. Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with customers, cross-functional support teams and management. Utilize Oracle's Configuration and Order Management tools to configure, validate and quote hardware systems, Cloud services and components. Serve as a liaison with other support teams and business functions such as Support Services, Purchasing, Order Management, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Information Systems and others in an effort to ensure accurate and timely procurement of Oracle hardware and Cloud services for internal use. Collect customers requirements and technical specifications required to configure and quote Oracle systems that meet customer needs. Develop in-depth knowledge of Oracle hardware products. Work with internal customers across all lines of business to understand requirements for hardware systems and be able to recommend solutions. Collect, input, verify, and analyze data to measure key performance indicators against business objectives. Become Subject Mater Expert (SME) in areas of responsibility,introduce efficiencies andimprovement within the operation. Ability to analyze, investigate root cause and drive issues to resolution. Seek technical knowledge and educate oneself about new products. Strong customer support orientation required and ability to educate customers about products and through the procurement process. ResponsibilitiesPerform systems/components configuration and quoting activities for Oracle hardware as defined in desktop procedures and process work instructions.Learn and utilize Oracle Tools set to manage quoting and order management support activities.Manage workload to successfully meet operational service level agreements to internal customers.Maintain high quality customer support and consistently follow up on deliverables and commitments.Demonstrates customer satisfaction for performed services.Create detailed documentation in standard format to capture operational processes, procedures and technical knowledge.Able to adopt new and evolving applications, tools and processes to meet business requirements.Analyze customer requirements for systems solutions and assist in crating configurations that meet the needs.Become a Subject Mater Expert (SME) with excellent troubleshooting and business analysis skills.Maintain strong technical knowledge about Oracle products and able to search for product information; specifications, features, configurations and alternative parts.Maintain deep knowledge about Oracles Quote-to-Order applications (Quoting, Q-Tool, Order Management, WebQuote, OIP, BOM Tool, TRC, Oracle s Hand Book, etc.).Understands and meets quality standards as defined for the Internal Hardware order management process.Handle customer escalations, defuse sensitive situations and drive resolutions effectively.Ability to produce training material and provide training to people with different skills levels.Skills Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.Strong ability to interact with people in a complex order management support environment.Good people skills and the ability to develop a strong relationship with customers.Process oriented with the ability to develop operational procedures and guidelines to drive processintegrity and high level of customer satisfaction.Detailed oriented and logical thinker with the ability to produce accurate work.Strong analytical skills.Has customer service experience.Strong understanding of computing technology, systems and order management domain.Strong project management skills.Process Quality skills.Presentation skills.Good process optimization skills. Educational and ExperienceUniversity Degree required, preferably in one of the following areas; Finance, Business Management & Administration, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science.At least 5 years support experience in areas related to Finance, Procurement, Customer Support, technical support, Product Configuration & Quoting, Order Management.
Additional Degree: BE/ B.Tech (Engineering)
