Must have strong IR background, should have worked on LTS settlementwith Union.Languages Kannada is a Must, knowledge of Telugu would be an addedadvantage.Industry preference Manufacturing background only.Preferable region Should be from Karnataka - as knowledge of Kannadalanguage is must.Recruitment and staffingo Handle recruitments at optimal cost at unit level independentlyo Induction of freshers and lateral joinees to the unito Provide timely and accurate information for reports and presentationsPerformance Appraisalso Ensuring annual appraisals on timeo Ensuring Goal setting process is done on timeStatutory Complianceo Timely adherence and compliance with various labour laws and otherstatutes applicable to the factory in the state and at a central level.Zero incident count on compliance-violation.o Liaison with labour office, factory inspector, PF department, labourwelfare board, Panchayats, Municipality, police and other statutoryinstitutions and bodies.Industrial Relationso Monthly meetings with employee representatives to understand andidentify issues if any to have harmonious industrial relations at theplant.o Grievance resolutiono Long term wage settlements to be productivity linked and within thespecified PC budget.o Enter into agreements and negotiate on labour contracts, canteen andhousekeeping contracts, ETP contract, etcSafetyo Participate in and identify critical safety areas in order to approachzero-incident work zone in terms of accidents, injuries, etc.Corporate Social Responsibility activities at unit level as per andwithin defined areasProductivity enhancement initiatives with manufacturing teamPreparation of and control of personnel budget, variable costs, etc
Degree: MBA/ PGDM
