Typical activities includeUnderstanding customers', specific business needs and applying product knowledge to meet those needs in the domain of transaction processing and complianceSales tracking and marketing using HubspotIdentifying and developing new business through networking and courtesy and follow up calls;Cold-calling in order to create interest in products and services and generate new business leads and arrange meetings;Preparing and delivering customer presentations of the software, articulately and confidently;Marketing and promoting a portfolio of products by writing and designing sales literature and through attending industry events;Work with Marketing to create campaigns and generate revenueMaintaining awareness and keeping abreast of constantly changing payments domain,Meeting sales targets set by managers and contributing to team targetsNetworking with existing customers in order to maintain links and promote additional products and upgrades;Responding to tender documents, writing proposals, reports and supporting literature; Managing your own diary in order to organize and prioritize daily and weekly goals.Contributing to team or progress meetings to update and inform colleagues.Travel inside and outside of India to meet clients/prospects and attendtrade showsPhone callsESSENTIAL SKILLSCandidates need to show evidence of the following Self-motivation and a competitive, results-driven attitude. Passion, dedication and focus. A good level of technical understanding with enthusiasm for new technology and its commercial uses Stamina and resilience and the ability to work well under pressure. Ability to communicate with colleagues until late evening and on weekends Articulate and confident presentation skills and professional telephone manner. Time-management skills and the ability to prioritize Attention to detail Persuasive and influential verbal communication skills A strong team spirit Business awareness on payments, financial transaction processing awareness on banking and/or Corporates domainEXPERIENCE LEVEL & QUALIFICATIONExperience LevelShould have at least 8-10 years of experience in sales role.Should have at least 4-5 years of experience in selling Banking and Financial Software to Banks and Corporates located in IndiaShould be able work independently to open, follow-up and close leads.Educational backgroundA preferred Masters degree in Business information systems/technology;Business/management;Computer science/software engineering/computer engineering;Mathematics
Degree: MBA/ PGDM
