ResponsibilitiesRespond to and resolve Windows Server and Desktop related incidents, service requests, and support tasks within committed SLA time-framesAnswer, evaluate, and prioritize requests for assistance from end-users experiencing issues with hardware, software, networking, security, and other computer-related topicsProvisioning of new user accountsProvide assistance with IT infrastructure set upReceive and resolve incident reports through tickets, phone calls, and emailsEnsure efficient handling of incidents and service requests through escalation, follow-up, and resolution using appropriate resourcesDetermine incident severity/priority and categoryValidation and evaluation of technical and or operational information pertaining to incidentsEnsure all resolutions have appropriate tickets raised in the system, and maintain history records, knowledge base, and related problem documentationPerform follow-up after resolution to gain agreement for closing the incident/ticket with the originatorKeep track of known solutions, consult knowledge database and use findings to respond to incidents and service requestsSupporting Audio Visual facilities/conferencing (assisting with meeting setup)RequirementsKnowledge of Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems and Microsoft Office applicationsKnowledge of Microsoft Windows server operating systemsUnderstanding of Active DirectoryAbility to communicate effectively and tactfully with customers, employees, and peers, in English, both verbally and in written formAbility to troubleshoot desktop networking issuesFamiliarity with network printers and troubleshooting Additional QualificationsThe following are desirable but not essential for consideration for this roleExperience with Active Directory and Microsoft Office 365 administrationBasic understanding of Mac OS X operating systemExperience with monitoring tools such as Nagios/Icinga or SolarWinds
Degree: M.Com. (Commerce) | M.Pharm. (Pharmacy) | M.Sc. (Science) | MA (Arts) | MBA/ PGDM | MCA/ PGDCA

Additional Degree: BE/ B.Tech (Engineering)
