Providing pre sales support to include consultancy around current cost of delivery, potential solution models and approaches, benefits analysis and input into provocations and early engagements.Combine knowledge of Fujitsu service offerings, skills and experience, knowledge of the market place, market trends and to design and propose compelling solutions.Contribute in building the opportunity business case and qualifying the business.Lead scoping workshops and the production of a storyboard to an appropriate level of detail.Identify solution options that are competitive and that offer the best fit against the customer requirements, exploring all solution possibilities (standard and non-standard service offerings) and challenge line of business/service tower status-quo where necessary.Create the High Level solution blueprint for the opportunity, identifying the key solution elements, operating model and delivery approach.Contribute to the assessment of bid budgets and plans with the sponsoring executive in order to manage the deliverables, control of costs, quality and time.Identify, interpret and translate customer requirements and communicate these to the service lines and solution team to ensure that the deliverables are clearly understood.Take an active role in the management and coaching of medium solution teams to ensure what is being designed meets the requirements, is deliverable and is optimised utilising Fujitsu best practice where possible to create differentiation against the competition and added value for the customer.Take ownership of the end to end solution throughout the solution design lifecycle including its shaping, construction and reviews ensuring that all solutions have undergone peer review from management or delegate.Ensure that the overall solution (operating model/transition plan/solution design) is competitive and meets the customers' business requirements.Capture and track all risks, assumptions, dependencies and decisions (RAIDD) associated with the solution highlighting all significant risks to senior management and ensure that a risk plan is put in place. Contribute to the proposal deliverables and authoring activities taking ownership of the solution overview and any assigned response sections and provide guidance, support and coaching to authors and other contributors.Ensures that the final document has a consistent message and is tailored to the customer and highlights Fujitsu's value proposition (and win themes).Contribute to the commercial and financial approval process.Ensure all solution elements fully comply with the company's governance and approval process.Take an active role, supporting/leading where necessary, in contract negotiations to ensure that the contract correctly represents the solution and offer.Ensure work and responsibilities are clearly apportioned and articulated in commercially sound agreements with customers and sub-contractors.Manage the formal post contract handover to operations and the assigned account team.Ensure the transfer of knowledge, documents and learnings from pursuits are communicated back to the broader pre-sales team to support pre-sale development and re-use.Take an active role in the coaching, mentoring and development of the broader architecture community.4.
