The Program Manager - Diabetes Health Solutions of the APAC region is a critical leadership role for Medtronic Diabetes Service & Solutions (DSS) Business.The purpose of the role is to develop and execute Diabetes Services and Solutions (DSS) business service strategy to grow services revenue for the APAC region; through Reapplication & implementation of global and regional service offerings (Diabeter, Clinics, Integrated Care & Value-based Healthcare) within the APAC region. The identification of new unmet healthcare needs and the successful design, sales, and implementation of new solutions to meet such needs. Responsibilities include opportunity identification; deal structuring, valuation, negotiation, due-diligence and contract management. This role will leverage cross-functional, corporate and regional resources including APAC and Business Development Manager; APAC Strategic Accounts Director, Country Leaders, Care Centre leaders and Global DIB resources to identify organic and inorganic service revenue opportunities. The position acts as a leader in identifying opportunities and operationalizing Medtronic DIB Market Development activities and resources at a Global, Regional and/or Country level. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for the sales and growth of new solutions in the Diabetes Services and Solutions business unit through multiple potential customer partners including payers, industry, direct to patients. Reapplication of global service offerings such as Diabeter in appropriate markets. Partner with the integrated healthcare solutions team within APAC to adapt and scale pilots applicable for diabetes businesses. Identifies and proposes potential business opportunities by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities. Screens potential business opportunities by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, strategic potential, and financials; evaluates options; resolves internal priorities; recommends and secures investments. Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new ventures with company strategies and operations; examines risks and potentials; estimates partners' needs and goals. Closes new business by coordinating requirements; develops and negotiates contracts; integrates contract requirements with business operations. Architects new business solutions to meet unmet customer needs, including internal development of solutions as well as securing external partners as needed. Responsible for new solution implementation by working closely with strategy, project management office, finance, marketing, HR, and business operations to ensure successful execution of new solutions. Provides direction to cross-functional teams responsible for developing full go-to-market strategies of new solutions including positioning, branding, pricing, sales, distribution, and resource requirements. Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements.
