Practiced at understanding the real issue when non technical users report a problem.Organized workloads to keep users updated and provide world class user experienceIdentification of issue trends with the ability to proactively fix issues before user impact occurs.Understanding the concept of ITSM systems and knowledge of ITIL fundamentals in support structures.Knowledge of Cisco and Avaya OEMs, their support structures and self help tools.Understanding of OEM maintenance processes or agreement mechanisms.Technical/IP TelephonyAbility to demonstrate knowledge of PBX, Key System and PSTN fundamentalsConfiguration of Cisco CUCM, CME, IP phones, Voice Gateways, Cisco Unity Voicemail, SRST and SIP technologiesConfiguring and troubleshooting PBX elements such as hunt groups, media and DSP resources, ISDN PRI interfaces, VoIP & POTS dial-peers, Route patterns, Route lists, Hunt Lists, Device Pool, Region, LocationUnderstanding and ability to guide users through features such as Phone Button Template, Soft key Templates, Speed dial, Call forwarding, SNR. Understanding of MGCP, H323, SIP and SCCP protocols to either configure or fault find a customer issueManaging dial plans using various tools like translation pattern, route pattern, calling/called transformation mask, FAC, route list, route group.Understanding of key voice monitoring solutions and the benefits they bring to providing the service.Network SkillsFundamentals of TCP\IP, OSI Model, Knowledge of Assembling and Cabling Devices.Working knowledge of Network component (SWITCH, ROUTER)Configuration, Managing and Maintaining Switch with STP and VTP Domain.Implementation and Maintaining VLAN and Inter-VLAN Routing. Backup & Restore IOS on Router and Switches, Load of fresh configurationsQualifications/RequirementsMinimum 5 years regional IT experience in a large, outsourced environment Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other technical disciplineSuperior oral, written, and client communication skills, as well as ability to manage expectations of the business, clients, team members, management and external groups Strategic vision & planning ability with respect to business valueStrong analytical problem solving and interpersonal skills Excellent interpersonal, presentation and facilitation skillsExcellent communication skills across all levels of the organization Vendor Management and negotiationChange Agent, able to create compelling vision focused on customer outcomes and executeDesired CharacteristicsAbility to work with global teams, act independently and as part of a team High level of energy and enthusiasm with the ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environmentExcellent knowledge in the following subject areas ITIL, Operational Excellence, Service Now, Tableau, SiSenseGE ITLP or AIMC graduate
