Required Skills 1. Good Troubleshooting skills /Software related queries of our global clients either through Phone, Email and remote sessions 2. Documentation of the case and functional writing skills required. 3. Utilizes professional concepts and theoretical knowledge acquired through specialized training, education or previous experience. 4. Exercises independent judgment within defined parameters. 5. Acts as team member by providing information, analysis and recommendations in support of team efforts. 6. Willingness to participate in non-standard working-time models (e.g. shift, call availability etc...) 7. Clear communication skills and Ability to work independently. 8. Confident telephone manner and Fluency in English. 9. Must possess excellent written & spoken communication skills. 10. Industry standard certifications Key Technical Skills Broad technical knowledge of Networking and Networking Solutions Core technical knowledge on HPN, Cisco and related networking product and technologies Deep technical understanding of Routing, Switching, Wireless, Security and Network management Good Knowledge and understanding of networking hardware and architecture Deep technical understanding of Designing, Installing, configuring, of Network, Security, Wireless products. Understanding of Windows, Linux and other operating systems preferred Understanding of Storage and Industry standard servers preferred Preferred Good understanding of Networking Technologies, Service and Support of Networking products from HPN ProCurve and H3C (Routing & Switching, Wireless, Network management (PCM+IMC) Cisco - Routing & Switching, Wireless, Security and Network management Checkpoint/Nokia Security ITIL V3 foundation certification Good to have knowledge on - Avaya/Alcatel Lucent - Riverbed - BluecoatQualificationsEqucational Qualifications requiredTehnical Diploma or Engineering DegreeApply technical knowledge to operate/admin on one or more technology areas (e.g. Backup administration, storage management and capacity management) for the Datacenter care customers that are critical or high-risk. Integrate technical knowledge and business understanding to create superior solutions for customers and HPE.Incident Management Resolve single and cross technology incidents independently.Escalation Management identify, manage, and drive technical escalations.Problem Management Proactively and reactively look for solutions to prevent problems from occurring in team/technology area. Perform Trend and Root cause analysis.Change Management/Implementation Independently prepare, review, implement, rollback and test plan for change records. Perform risk and impact analysis for changes, May lead or participate in a Change Advisory Board.Patch and firmware Management Proactively monitor the environment for patch and firmware compliance.Configuration Management Ensure Configuration Management Database (CMDB) entries are complete and accurate.Project Management Participate in Transition and Knowledge Transfer (KT), Create Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)Teamwork Work as part of a team, which may be virtual, global, and/or multi-functional.Knowledge and Skills RequiredStorage and Backup Administrator with experience in multiple Technologies (HPE 3PAR or Data protector Primary skill) (Secondary Skills EMC, Avamar etc.)Manage backup system administration, system health, migrations and reporting.Analyze performance statistics to identify and resolve infrastructure capacity/configuration issues and update documentation and create SOPGood understanding and troubleshooting of databases backups including Microsoft SQL or MySQL and Oracle (RMAN) and Exchange.Storage Area Network Experience (Brocade and Cisco)Tape Library Experience (Small, Medium and Large)Storage Replication ExperienceBe able to automate activities using tools/scriptsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent analytical and problem solving skillsSelf-driven, passionate and positive attitude towards handling critical situations.
