PURPOSE OF THE JOBLead communications within the store and on the local market. Communication is a strategic and supportive resource for efficient leadership of the IKEA business and people. Communication supports us in reaching our business goals and in actively building long-term trust in IKEA and our home furnishing offer. Further, the function should work to enhance a positive perception of IKEA, create awareness about our offer and increase interest in IKEA.A business partner and coach with the task to secure the effective use of communications as an enabler to reach the business and people objectives as well as create trust in IKEA.Work to enhance a positive perception and interest in IKEA. Define, plan, execute and follow up communications to relevant stakeholders as an integrated part of the business. Support an open and sharing climate where our co-workers are well informed and the IKEA culture is a living reality.ASSIGNMENTLead and develop communication as a strategic tool for leading business and people.Facilitate dialogue, encourage involvement and contribute to an open and sharing climate.Coach, advice and support leaders to plan and deliver the most effective, appropriate communication as well as to strengthen their leadership.Responsible for defining, planning, executing and measuring strategic and effective communications based on the needs of business and people as well as the global communications strategy.Ensure professional media relations with correct, engaging and relevant messages.Train and support our spokes people on a country and a store level.JOB SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGEDemonstrated knowledge of stakeholder relations and positively influencing stakeholdersUp-to-date knowledge of the complete internal communications landscape, usage and measurementsGood writing skills and deep and broad knowledge of communicationIKEA concept and IKEA Brand, including IKEA Brand values, copy and visual identity, and tone of voiceUp-to-date knowledge of the complete media landscape, usage and measurementsWorking with agencies, message and campaign briefing and processesQualitative and quantitative research, consumer data and trends, relevant KPI s
