Role Strategic Sourcing Manager - APAC Reports to Senior Manager Global Partner Commercials Location Gurgaon, India Role Overview In this role, you will lead the effort to expand and improve our network of Partners throughout the APAC region. You will report to the Global Partner Commercials Manager in the Supply Chain Department and be focused on ensuring the goals of the department are met. Key Responsibilities Source for and evaluate payroll and employment outsourcing service partnerships throughout APAC by following established due diligence process Building strong relationships with diverse global service partners throughout APAC Negotiating with current and new partners to secure best pricing and broadest services possible Documenting and maintaining due diligence templates to maintain a compliant partner network Documenting and maintaining internal partner/country statement of work templates to ensure service core services and additional services offered are clear for internal and external clients Researching and understanding payroll and employment outsourcing industry and becoming a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on regional payroll services Documenting and improving partner service capabilities, implementation requirements, and business processes Maintaining excellent levels of communication both written and oral using our ticketing system to record engagement Mandatory Skills required Knowledge of global payroll processes Possesses exceptional English language skills, both written and oral Vendor or Partner compliance experience Experience working with executive leadership (Managing Directors, CEO, Owner) of partner firms. Proven ability to negotiate contract terms and conditions Attention to detail and analytical thinking Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a constantly changing environment Self-directed individual with pro-active initiative to solve problems and improve processes Adaptive and responsive across an organization (serving sales, operations, management, etc) Curious, questioning approach with strong desire to learn Cultural appreciation of global teams Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Desirable Skills required Current Subject Matter Expert (SME) on payroll Language proficiency in languages other than English a distinct advantage Working with and supporting suppliers, clients or third party outsourcing relationship Managing complex projects Customer / supplier negotiations in a service related environment Project management skills with experience using MS Project, ProjExec, or other project management software Please note this role may require extensive overseas travel
