1.Co-ordination of all aspects of the departments operation to ensure that the services of the Department are delivered to guests or internal customers with the aim of exceeding guest expectations and in accordance with Le Meridien Gurgaon, Delhi NCR s standards and procedures.2.Responsible for the day-to-day management of associates working in the Department.3.Analyse and respond to guest feedback, guest satisfaction and associate satisfaction information; and give a positive commitment to continuous improvement of product and performance.4.Coordinate the upkeep and cleanliness of the department by liaising with Housekeeping and Engineering.5.Ensure all furniture and fittings and operating equipment are maintained and clean at all times.6.Requisition all items necessary for room service operation including food, beverage and general items insuring they do not exceed set par levels.7.Liaise with Chef and Asst. Manager to ensure the highest food standard is achieved. Co-ordinate the operation of the department to ensure good coverage as per Hotel Occupancy.9.To maintain personal grooming and presentation standards to a level which are appropriate for the image of our hotel.10.Prepare working schedules and ensure annual leave is within budget, business expectations and Labor Law guidelines.11.In conjunction with Human Resources and the Asst. Manager, to assist with effective recruitment, training and development, certification, performance evaluation, turnover reduction and optimisation of productivity through efficient work practices and staff rostering.REQUIREMENTS Appear confident, well groomed and dressed in a smart casual mannerPersonality warm, welcoming, smiling and pleasant Act with integrityCommunicate effectively Fair and firm Supervisory abilitiesGood Administration skills Hands-on approach to all operational aspectsGood Communication Skills InitiativeSelf-motivated Coaching SkillsGood computer skills
