This multifaceted role will take ownership for designing and driving the marketing strategy, programs, and activities within Consumer Print business across In India.. Key responsibilitiesDevelop, implement and own the Marketing strategy and planEnsure cross-functional alignment by forging strong partnership with Business and Sales teams in order to support the achievement of business objectives and revenue targets.Identify/align cross-functional and/or cross-organizational teams as needed to plan and execute near-term Go to Market (GTM) plans and budgetsHave a strong understanding of customer/segment needs and the competitive environment. This include leading and developing of need-based segmentation , generating of consumer and shopper insights for each target audience, for both new product introductions and base business.Identify/develop innovative / breakthrough consumer insight based marketing program metrics/benchmarks, including both traditional and new age media / advertising.Create/implement innovative customer and partner engagement programs, including joint events and assess ROI.Execute marketing plan or a solution through cross-functional alignment and coordinationSet overall strategic and tactical direction for marketing programs across countries that generate revenue and shareCreate engaging and compelling customer value proposition together with the Category and Global Marketing teams.Direct the development of messaging framework and content for marketing programs and vehicles.Generate relevant collateral/content across 360 consumer touchpoints in collaboration with the APJ Marketing, Brand teams, and Trade Marketing and work with country teams for localization and transcreation across the countries in the region.Equip trade marketing, sales teams and channel partners with sales tools and messages across customer types and life cycle needs for effective product positioning.The candidate profileThe successful candidate will be a utilizing a consultative and inspirational style to drive results and achieve specific business objectives. Should be an analytical and strategic thinker, grounded on consumer understanding and data, with a creative mindset. Candidates must also be flexible in their approach and have the ability to thrive in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment, and able to deliver multiple projects within defined timelines. Qualifications Are you a high-performer?We are looking for an individual with Education and Experience RequiredBachelor of Arts (BA) or in Marketing or related field; Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred10+ years of brand management / marketing experience. Shorter experience will be reviewed for top talent from top FMCG industryKnowledge and Skills RequiredEssentialProven Marketing Programs experience within a fast paced Technology or Fast-Moving Consumer Goods environment.Able to define and implement a regional marketing strategy and present accurate results via marketing campaign dashboards and defined KPIs.A methodical yet innovative approach to planning/owning a regional marketing strategy, with strong focus on knowledge-based leadership and project management skills (including managing external agencies and forging alliance relationships with external stakeholders/vendors).An exceptional and consultative communication style, with the ability to craft engaging and compelling marketing collateral/content.Experience in leading the development and executing holistic marketing launch plans for new and base business covering both traditional and new age / digital mediaExperience in leading the multifunction team in developing consumer need-based segmentation, generating insights for both new product innovation and base business to drive continuous growth via consumer insight based marketing activations in traditional (ATL & BTL) and new age / digital media.Experience of creating/implementing innovative partner and customer engagement programs, managing events and assessing ROI.An influencer, with strong business acumen and the ability to forge senior level strategic partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders.Creativity, determination and persistence, with a strategic, forward planning thought process.Fluency in English language at a business level. Asian languages would be advantageous.Expert knowledge of marketing principles, practices, tactics and tools, including digital/social/eCommerce.Experience in developing and driving consistent field adoption of industry/segment messagingIn-depth knowledge of industry or customer segments, offerings/strategy and demand generation programFamiliarity with and/or experience in partner marketingExcellent written/oral communications and analytical skillsExcellent interpersonal skills; ability to build and manage virtual teamsExcellent negotiating skillsAbility to interface effectively with all levels of management and functional disciplinesExcellent influencing and consensus-building skills
