A Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for order management to support internal customers, resolving customer issues and acting as first point of contact to the SBU for supply chain management. The Supply Chain Coordinator must ensure Supply Chain Operations (SCO) is meeting delivery targets and provides analysis and customer feedback to procurement, forecasting and warehousing to ensure customer needs are met. Chennai Operations as part of Supply Chain Operations ensures the right components are available for the fast growing service business of Vestas. We constantly focus on timely delivery as well as not compromising on Quality. We focus on optimization, by having low Inventory as well as also ensuring timely delivery to the customers. It is a challenging task that is ever changing. The department is operating Globally, so an international experience comes with the job. We are looking for skilled personals who are well structured, well organised and ready to work in a global environment with many Cultural Differences. You need to be able to handle large amount of data, coordinating with various stake holders ResponsibilitiesAct as the primary point of contact to all customers in the SCO Region for Spares & ToolsResponsible for Down Turbine order management, communication, and results High Urgency Participate in daily turbine down call, interface with Site managers and Service managementMonitor delivery note creation and to the warehouse to ensure same day shipment to meet agreed delivery expectationsDevelop and manage process of Return of inventory from siteIndependently analyze return requests including stocking levels calculations and financial impactProvide recommendation on return material to acceptTransact return orders and ensure timely delivery to warehouseManage receipts of direct ship/drop ship orders and delivery note processing to ensure correct inventory levelEngage technical resources within SPR and SBU to identify issue resolution Liase with Technology and PLMProvide customer support by following up on orders to optimize delivery to the customerWork independently to determine urgent expediting requirementsReceive, Process and Close NCR sProcess or redirect construction PRsSupport Construction container process ordersProcess Tool Service/Repair/Re-calibration requestsProcess Site to Site Tooling requestsMeasure and report KPI s associated with customer service level support for the defined regionOn time deliveryOn time confirmationNCR ProcessingQualificationsBachelors degree or equivalent work experience required5 or more years experience in a customer service/sales function3 or more years Supply Chain experience2 or more years of ERP/MRP Experience, SAP experience preferred.Strong computer skills including proficiency in MS Word, Excel; MS AccessCompetenciesDemonstrated ability to work in a cross-functional and team environment. Very strong Oral and written communication skills requiredExcellent oral and written skills.Ability to read and write Spanish preferredStrong customer focusAbility to analyze data and make recommendations to drive improvementsStrong self driven approach to daily workTeam player with good interpersonal skillsLean & Six Sigma Training preferredAPICS CPIM certification desirable.Willing to work in complete Night Shifts.
Degree: ME/ M.Tech./ MS (Engg/ Sciences)
