Act as focal point and escalation path for your area of focus. Provide oversight of IT projects requiring consultancy on how to effectively transition the solution from the project to support. Requires close alignment with support and operations teams.Manage day-to-day performance of supportability specialists working on projects within your portfolioProvide integrated planning of transition requirements for solutions from project to operational support across a programme of dependent projectsRegular status reporting to stakeholders. Monitor and report on the success and areas of improvement of programme/project transitions and engagements through regular monitoring. Review reports created by back office for accuracyEnsure learning's and look backs are captured and communicatedAct as trusted advisor to project teams and support organizations on support & transition matters. Close interaction required with many global stakeholders crossing a number of functions.Consult on ways to improve function and reduce transition and support costsForecast resource requirements across assigned portfolioProvide guidance and advice on transition to support of new services including interfacing tools, processes, knowledge, training, service development, contracts, licenses, and relevant communicationsWork with relevant members of support to ensure that the End to End Support Model, processes, personnel and tools are in place prior to go-live.Deliver Service Level Agreements, budgets for Transition and Run & Maintain costs, Knowledge Transfer & Transition Plan, co-ordinate source code documentation and handoverAssure the solution handed across is compliant with relevant security standards, Business Continuity Plans & Disaster Recovery Plans are delivered, License Management is agreed, asset inventories are up-to-date and signoffs & involvement of key support staff are sought & deliveredA minimum of9 years work experienceSelf-starter with Good analysis and problem solving skillsDemonstrated understanding of project management, project finance and the development of business benefits for ITExperience in applications support and support processes, specifically ITILStrong stakeholder, interpersonal relationship, and negotiation skillsProven ability to deliver results in a matrix organization driving delivery excellence through influence and team workingExperience of working in a global virtual team environmentAbility to deal with conflict and ambiguity effectivelyAbility to handle concurrent tasks with appropriate priorityProject or Programme Management competenciesStrong relationship skills to work with multiple stakeholders across organizational and business boundaries at all levelsUnderstanding of business support requirementsGraduate / Post Graduate with relevant experience preferably in Application Development & Support / Project ManagementExperience delivering applicationsExperience determining costs for applications and solutionsExperience providing guidance and coaching within a team
Degree: MCA/ PGDCA

Additional Degree: BE/ B.Tech (Engineering)
