These can include implementation of any new Sponsor platform,Upgrades to Order Management System (Moxy,)Attending trading related conferences or seminars. Coordinates workflow with the Operations manager and ensures solid communication between various internal and external clients such as Portfolio Management, Portfolio Analytics Group, Equity Trading, Account Services, and various Broker Trading Desks.Define internal controls and make sure that they are effective in day to day operationsManage and participate in various departmental projects. Identify project objective, resources and barriers, and implement project strategies. Ensure successful and timely completion of projects.Crisis management Ability to recommend and implement a plan of action to meet objective when the systems are down, system processes are not functioning or other uncertainties in the system environmentAll processed transactions are in line with internal controls and regulatory requirements and should have a strong verification processes. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee the supervisory responsibilities of FT SMA product operationsMaintain, recommend and implement efficient departmental processes and ensure departmental procedures are kept current and an effective control environment is maintainedEnsure all daily work is completed timely, accurately and according to proceduresEnsure all management reporting is complete, timely and effective given any process or data changes.Participate in the Annual Risk review of the processAddressing Functional queries and should ensure timely resolution of issues while taking into consideration impact of issues and sites and escalate to Manager, as necessary. Should be point of escalationSupport Internal/External AuditsIdentify and implement process improvementsIdentify and communicate workflow and training deficiencies and develop resulting action plans, etc.Maintain a regular communication medium with business partners to discuss service levels and trends identified.Establish and maintain quality standards for external and internal verbal/written communicationInteract with offshore staff in the resolution of trade discrepanciesBuild and maintain good working relationships with trading contacts from sponsor firmsWork on any other project assigned by the direct supervisorOversee trading of cash flows, tax harvest request, new accounts and liquidation requests.Ensure to create orders in OMS (Moxy) timely and accuratelyEnsure to upload and execute orders in the sponsors systems (monitoring items such as restrictions and/or corporate action related issues.)Ensure to upload orders to OneTIS for best execution accounts and work with Equity Trading Desk to ensure requests are tradedOversee block trade creation and allocations in trading Order Management System (OMS) MoxyEnsure to act upon instructions received from the Portfolio Analytics Group and/or Portfolio Management to complete timely creation of block trade orders.Ensure to identify and exclude accounts that might be exemptions for the particular trade order (i.e., accounts with negative cash)Ensure to work closely with Operations Staff to monitor accounts that may need to be added or removed from block orders (i.e., new accounts, terminations or transfers.)Ensure to monitor and trouble shoot restrictions encountered on block orders.Ensure prices from all trades (blocks and maintenance trades) executed during the day are entered accurately in OMS (Moxy)Ensure step-out trade allocations are entered accurately in various trading platformsReview the OMS (Moxy) trade blotters to ensure all trades have been allocated in Moxy
Degree: MBA/ PGDM
