Roles & Responsibilities - include specific functions/ tasks/ performance objectives * Accurate verification and execution of all Trades, Cash and FX instructions received by internal partners within established service level agreements.EOD balancing with custodian / Managing the Funding of Settlement Nostro for various currencies for settlement of Fixed Income and Equity dealsReview, monitor and action against daily break, fail and control reportsTimely completion of cancellation and correction requests.Respond promptly and accurately requests & inquiries from the Front Office, Client Service, Custodian and external brokers.Follow up with the Custodian / Counterparty for the Failed TradesLooking at the Pre matched report and settled deals reportFollowing up with internal / external counterparty for unconfirmed tradesHandle cross border trades and handle queriesCoordinate with the cash management team and the Middle Office teamRegular review of various Business Matrix KPI, Capacity Report, Error Logs, etcQualificationsCollege Degree4/5 years of Banking / Cash Product / Securities / Processing experience in financial services environment.This role requires meticulous attention to detail.An acute awareness of the high risk, time critical and complex nature of the Private Banking environment, an ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines is essential.Flexible to work overtime and on holidaysProficient on Microsoft Word, Excel and Access.Ability to work in a deadline driven environmentA proactive approach to problem solving, taking ownership of issues and having the determination to follow things throughClient focusedGood time management skillsUses initiative & readily questionsMust be very detailed oriented.Excellent written & spoken English communication skills.An appreciation of control and quality issues.Control orientatedRisk awarenessPreferred Skills & Experience - include specifics, as above *Knowledge of securities industry and back office operations (e.g. options, equities, fixed income, physicals, custody services, etc.)Knowledge of the operating and compliance standards and audit requirements of the departmentKnowledge of the handling FX transactions.Banking Operations experience required, Private Banking operations experience would be beneficial.Ability to analyze a process and recommend ways to improve quality, control, and efficiency Leadership SkillsSelf-motivated.Have strong communication skills (written and verbal)Have the ability to work independently and to proactively seek guidance from others as neededStrong team player and has the capacity to build good working relationships with cross functional/geographical teamsResult oriented, accepting responsibilities and challenges that take them outside their comfort zonePositive outlook and a desire to stretch themselves to achieve bo
