Job Skills/Qualifications 6 years middle/back office experience or related accounting experience2 to 4 years Multifonds knowledge required A strong knowledge of the middle office operationsA strong Microsoft Excel background required. Microsoft Access is a plus. Experience writing business requirements. High Quality and Customer User Requirements is a plus.Experience with writing and executing test scripts. Project Management and Microsoft Project experience is a plusSelf-starter, able to work independently. Ability to Multi-task Effective time management skills Manages complex and highly variable issues with significant potential impact across multiple securities processing areas Provides in-depth and sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking to define securities processing and or middle office problems and develop innovative solutionsRecommends and implements systems and procedural enhancements for securities processing area Advanced knowledge of middle office activities to include calculation of net asset value (price), recording of corporate actions, reconciling cash and holdings, and pricing of securities to perform job dutiesServes as analytical and/or procedural expert, representing a unit or team to support securities processing deliverables/initiatives Resolves complex problems where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of basic securities processing procedures and industry standardsBA in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or Computer Science is preferredDesired ProfileThrough relationships with our clients, Client supports a broad range of manager investment models, including fixed income and domestic and international equity. The System Subject Matter Expert position will be responsible for the maintaining current knowledge of all accounting engines and industry best practices. This would ultimately include all of the systems that are ultimately used in the End to End Middle office process
