This role forms an integral part of the APAC Finance Planning and Analysis team. The role will be responsible for the month end reporting and analysis of Asia shared services allocations as well as managing divisional stakeholders in respect of allocations affecting their businesses. The scope of work will include-Critically review, understand and challenge (where necessary) the allocations from Central Allocations team, including allocated ShS headcountTrack actual allocations against plans / budget and explain drivers for variances (ie. underlying cost base vs stat changes)Provide transparency on allocations to business COOs, country COOs and various finance teams which include1) Preparation of reports 2) Monthly review meeting with regional business finance teams 3) Reviewing the inter-regional allocations to ensure fair distribution of allocated costs into APAC 4) Ensure appropriate allocation of Shared Services allocations by country to facilitate profitability analysis5) Act as the allocations expert for Asia including being the bridge with Pune/Zurich on allocation updates/ process changes 6) Proactive gatekeeper for allocations both transfers in and out of the region and alert potential issues to management 7) Participate in allocations related projects as required (eg. Allocation Transformation team addressing legal entity allocation)You Offer...
