strong Lead Network Security professionalfor supporting Infrastructure team. The shortlisted candidate should have strong communication, interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills. Should have an ability to effectively communicate complex technical issues within the team, and is able to work individually or as part of a team to achieve project goals. Primary Skills ? Responsible for designing computer networks, including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), the Internet, intranets, and other data communications systems. Creates, tests, and evaluates networks. ? Data technology planning and evaluation as it pertains to system design requirements including new equipment selection, requirement specifications, requirement gathering, design selection, alternative recommendations, costing and scheduling. ? Interface with Sales and Marketing to define new data products and services and ensure timely selection of data equipment to support new product rollouts. ? Provide input to the development and documentation of guidelines and specifications for the proper configuration and usage of the data Network and it's components. ? Recommend policy design and maintenance (internal/external protocols and Network design layout) Provide financial analysis on proposed data equipment. ? Strong expertise with LAN/WAN topologies and routing protocols (Ethernet, Spanning Tree, VLANs, MPLS, TCP/IP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, ACLs, QOS, SNMP etc) is essential ? Excellent hands-on experience of configuring and troubleshooting of Cisco Routers (7200, 3800, 2800 and 3900 and Switches (Nexus switches, Catalyst 6500 series of switches). ? Strong knowledge on MPLS VPN. ? Good remote troubleshooting skills ? Basic hands-on experience and fair Knowledge in working with Cisco IPT Call Manager, Unity Connections (Voice mail), CME (Call Manager Express) & CUE (Cisco Unity Express) Cisco IP Telephony (H.323, MGCP, SIP ) ? Should be able to understand Complex Network environment and ability to work under pressure. ? Hands on experience on Network Data Center planning/design/ implement or support High Availability protocols HSRP, VRRP, GLBP ? Good understanding of QoS and multicast concepts WFQ, CBWFQ, LLQ, WRD, CoS, RSVP, DSCP, Policing, Shaping and Marking Multicast Sparse-mode, SSM, Auto-RP and BSR, MVPN ? Demonstrate experience in developing and executing technical strategies and independently leading technical strategic initiatives ? Candidate should be able to analyze Network infrastructure capacity that enables deployment of existing/new projects ? Lead strategy engagements through all key regional teams for project deliverables. ? This position requires a high degree of teamwork. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical aptitude and a desire to learn about new technologies. He will need to be an energetic, self-motivated individual who enjoys working in a collaborative team environment.Job RequirementsEducation, Skill, and Experience Requirements ? A Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related field preferred and 8 + years of relevant work experience in Networking. ? 8 + years of related, progressively responsible experience leading IT engineering, integration, and/or operations activities in a capacity as network subject matter expert ? Experience in supporting 24X7X365 infrastructure engineering and operations in a network operations center or data center, preferably in an internal and/or government organization. ? 5+ years' experience at the supervisory level, leading one or more IT Service organizations with complex networking and data center responsibility for business/mission critical services ? Strong working knowledge of identifying weaknesses in large l enterprise networks, and providing corrective action plans to provide high availability and capacity ? Strong working knowledge and understanding of network engineering technology and industry standard best practices including network switching and routing, load balancing, OSI layer protocols, encryption, traffic management and prioritization, VoIP convergence, segmentation, and resiliency. ? Demonstrated experience advising senior leadership on technical issues, with proven ability to communicate technical issues effectively at all levels of an organization. ? CCNP, CCIE or CCDP or equivalent level professional certification ? Basic certifications in two or more of the following ITIL, COBIT, networking, security, systems management, or related discipline ? Must have experience with earned value cost/schedule management experience ? Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of LAN/WAN support and engineering design for voice, data and video networks at Access, Aggregation, and Core network locations General Knowledge of best practices with Telephony Switch networks using switching interfaces such as GR-303 and TR-08. Also knowledge of SS7, AIN, LNP, etc.
