Responsibilities Experience implementing and testing wireless security Reviews, plans, designs, evaluates and monitors network systems Develops and Maintains Technical Documentation and procedures Manage and maintain the firewalls/VPN/IPS across the enterprise. Troubleshoot internal and external connectivity and security issues. Administration and maintenance of firewalls Experience in security configuration and hardening of Cisco routers and switches Experience and ability in reading packet analysis and network sniffers (wireless and wired) results Monitors and reports all findings to the Information Security Manager Demonstrates strong technical and security knowledge and requires high initiative and ability to work independently and according to strict schedules. Strong experience in vulnerability scanning, analysis and remediation Advanced knowledge of Cisco PIX firewalls, ASA, IDS/IPS, Cisco Mars CCNP level knowledge of Cisco routers and switches. Advanced knowledge of security concepts and technologies Advanced knowledge of VPN concept, configuration and administration Advanced knowledge of firewall rule administration Advanced knowledge of authentication and access controls Advanced knowledge of network and security monitoring tools Adheres to IS Business Practices and Project Methodology TACACS+ RADIUS experience is a plus. Provides 24 hour On Call Support as requiredQualificationsExperience Bachelors degree is preferred Subject matter expert in the operations support of Enterprise Network technologies. At least 5 years of technical experience with enterprise Networks In-depth knowledge of Cisco IOS & NX-OS Cisco routers, Nexus 5K/7K/9K, Catalyst Switches, Wi-Fi, and ASA. Strong OSI layer 2 knowledge and practical experience, including various flavors of Spanning Tree, ARP, QoS, OTV, VDC, VPC etc. Thorough understanding of networking technologies, including administration of enterprise routers, switches, firewalls and load balancers (OSI layers 4-7). Comprehensive knowledge of OSI layer 3 networks and protocols, including broadcast, multicast, anycast concepts, routing, etc. Understanding of network security methodologies as a whole, including but not limited to ACLs, statefull firewalls, VPNs (tunneling, IPsec, PPTP, etc.) Fluency with common network admin and intrusion detection tools such as Rancid, OpenNMS, Nagios, Ethereal/Wireshark, Nmap, Nessus, Netflow, Syslog, Radius etc. Knowledge of VoIP technologies, Lync, Cisco, SBCs, SIP, etc. Have previous experience in an operations NOC environment working on isolating and restoring customer network issues. Have hand s on administration and support experience WAN circuits ranging from, Ethernet,DS1, DS3, Frame Relay, and MPLS, EVPL topologies. Have configuration experience on Cisco Network (Routers and Switches), as well as Cisco ASA F/Ws. Have the appropriate skills to be able to trouble shoot network routing issues over an EIGRP/BGP/OSPF topology. Must be able to work with Cisco/Telecom vendors and Customers in a technical and professional manner with minimum direction.
