Individual Contributor Role - Support Juniper Subscriber management platforms E-series and roadmap to MX series for subscriber management- Work with directly with highly knowledgeable group of Service Provider customers.- Understand Service provider core & edge network, Troubleshoot complicated hardware and software issues, replicate customer environments and network problems in the lab.- Manage and own critical customer escalations. Facilitate, own and document communication among customers, escalation, and engineering.- Build a strong relationship with Advanced Services Team and work closely to deliver remarkable customer experience- Be a customer advocate for timely resolution of the problems reported, understand the environment/network and impact on business.- Take total ownership for problem resolution, problem reproduction and escalation.- Be a fast learner and keep pace with newer technologies- Participate in cross functional tasks such as new product development projects, team initiatives, create Knowledge Base, Whitepapers and Trainings.- Help improve processes and tools.- Adhere to Juniper TAC process.Primary Skills required Service Provider network implementation / operations / troubleshooting experience. Excellent Customer handling and communication (verbal and written) skills Good understanding of - * IP Packet flow, OSI layers * Layer 3 - IP and related technologies (ICMP, TCP, GRE, QoS, VRRP) * Ethernet, PPP, PPPoE, PPPoA, DHCP * IP routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, ISIS) * AAA and related protocols such as Radius, Diameter Prefer to have expertise in one or more areas - * MPLS, VPLS, L2 and L3 VPN * Multicast technologies NG-MVPN, PIM * Working experience with traffic generators and network protocol analysis tools * Working experience with Linux, FreeBSD, Scripting languages (Tcl, Perl) ExperienceRequires B.E. in Electronics/Engineering or Computer Science with 5+ years relevant network troubleshooting experience with minimum 2 years experience in Troubleshooting large service Provider networks.Platform Knowledge Juniper (routers, switches), Cisco, Alcatel, Brocade, Nortel, Huawei, traffic generators (Ixia, Agilent)/ traffic simulators, protocol analyzers, testers etc (expertise on some of these are good to have).Preferred Certifications - JNCIS-M, JNCIP-M, JNCIE-M, CCNA/CCNP/CCIE, CCIE-SP
