Overall purpose of rolePartner with Technology Snr Management and HRBPs/Learning BP s to shape BTCIs Technology technical learning strategy in alignment with the global Technology technical learning strategy.Key Accountabilities and Skills requiredThis section should includeDrive technical and professional skill and organisational capability development; assess training/development priorities, successes, and areas of improvement on an ongoing basisDiagnose business issues and create relevant e2e learning solutions that ensure alignment to the future strategic direction of the business and address the key Group macro areas of technical training focus (Agile, Lean, Cloud, Service/Supplier Management etc.)Conduct in-depth business driven training needs analysis and demand planning; recommending appropriate solutions that are not only commercially appealing and realise a return of investment but that also deliver dynamic, challenging learning interventions that are accessible to busy, competitive audiencesMaintain continuous improvement across operational processes, procedures and solutions; evaluating existing content and curriculums, as well as the infrastructure that supports them to stay ahead of emerging technical trendsWhere directed, work closely with Sourcing to create SLAs and input to MSA/MSP negotiations for existing and new Vendor/Service relationships; negotiate enterprise wide agreements and build strong relationships with preferred global training/service suppliersOversee relationships with all Vendors, Service providers, partners and Consultants who may be engaged to provide services, including content development, branding, production, delivery and classroom trainingActively develop and maintain reciprocal relationships with internal customers/stakeholders in order to continuously monitor, evolve and improve our offerings and services to meet expectations and needsContinuously monitor ROI across the global Technology technical curriculum and perform regular retrospectives with key stakeholders and SME s to improve ROI outputs; gather detailed feedback from all learning participants and analyse results closely to ensure improvements and adjustments are made to realise the associate ROI benefitsBuild and use personal knowledge of technical trends, financial industry trends, and business best practices to understand clients perspectives and the business impacts of learningThink outside the classroom to craft just in time learning solutions, including eLearning s, videos, knowledge forums, social media tools, and internal expert talksWork closely with various learning services/administrative support teams to ensure efficient, cost-effective management of contracts, billing, enrolment, scheduling, venue management and query resolutionManage the alignment of technical training budget spend for BTCI/Technology BUs and produce required MI and reports for Head of function and other stakeholders Risk and Control All Barclays colleagues have to ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Policy StandardsYour Skills and Qualifications will includeEffective senior stakeholder management, influencing and communication skillsExperience of working in a large, global matrix organisationStrong commercial skills as well as negotiation and problem solving skills and a proven track record of procuring training solutionsExperience of working within a diverse, distributed global teamExperience of designing and shaping blended learning solutions across multiple delivery channelsExperience working for a technology business or with a technology client group would be necessaryProject management skills and ability to plan large-scale training eventsFlexibility and agility in adjusting plans to rapid changeBachelors Degree in an applicable field (HR, Tech, Learning, Organizational Development)Excellent experience in Learning & Development (or technology training/operations)A role model for Barclays Values (Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence, Stewardship)
