Technical Requirements5+ years industry experience enterprise-level virtualization, designing, implementing and maintaining VMware vSphere/ESXi and AWS environments within a medium to large enterprise.Strong Cloud services experience within public/private and hybrid clouds. Amazon Web Services, VMware vRealize Automation and NSX technologiesStrong ESXi scripting and automation in support in server commissioning, maintenance and overall Health (Powershell /Perl)vSphere 5/6 expertise in HA/DRS and FTStrong network/storage background, with expert knowledge of virtual switchingExperience in the maintenance of VMware clusters with VMware Infrastructure/AWSExperience with capacity planning and monitoring within VMware Infrastructure/AWS. Senior level diagnostic of and troubleshooting common guest / host issues.Knowledge of shared storage solutions and how to integrate them on the clusters (SAN/NAS) Networking integration into VMware ESXi and troubleshooting common problemsSolid Unix/Linux/Windows Administration backgroupExperience with DevOps and PaaS configuration tools, Puppet, Ansible or Chef.Role and RequirementsCommunication with staff/clients to understand specific system requirements and providing guidelines for secure implementation.Providing advice and recommendations on current or emerging technologies to accurately develop project plans and (hardware, software, and labor) costs, design concepts, or design changes.Documenting design specifications, installation instructions, and other system-related material. Monitoring system operation and performance for potential problems.Directing the analysis, development, operation and maintenance/upgrades of enterprise systems (including hardware/software).Configuring servers to meet functional specifications in line with global standards.
