Revenue generation by promoting trade on thecompany splatform by the prop. trades.Bringing on board new members for proprietary tradeIncrease business from existing prop. Trading membersKey AccountabilitiesStrategic1. Co-create, execute and monitor the sales strategy for the proprietary sales.2. Identifying new accounts (Proprietary Firms) to participate on thecompany splatform andpromote increased trading from these accounts both through manual as well asAlgo.3. Promote revenue generation from existing members in the prop trading through schemes,campaigns, education and awareness, relevant information,etc4. Identify segments of prop traders, jobbers and arbitragers to target through skill enhancementprogram5. Create a plan to engage directly or indirectly with traders\jobbers\arbitragers6. Explore innovative avenues to increase participation of traders\jobbers\arbitragers the exchange7. To establish and enhance prop cash and carry business between forwards and futures onexchangeOperational8. Understand the levers/ drivers of trade within the traders\jobbers\arbitragers and providefeedback to the Exchange on the same9. Co-design motivational schemes/programs/seminars/awards for traders\jobbers\arbitragersalongwith the marketing team for the assigned institutions10. Work with the Marketing team to create campaigns to build awareness and interest of thetraders\jobbers\arbitragers players.11. Actively coordinate other BD team members doing prop sales to share ideas and coordinate withmembers having prop desk at multiple locations.12. Act as an extension of the quant andAlgo team to disseminate various actionable tradingstrategiesto members.13. Work closely with product teams to disseminate various market updates to members.14. Identifying cross selling opportunities between Proprietorysales and Business developmentteams across members doing both prop and client businesses.ProfileEducational Qualification -Post graduate degree in Management or equivalent from reputed institute.Previous Experience - 5-10 years experience in sales and prop trading with high sales orientationIndustry to be hired from - Previous experience in prop trading desks of brokerage firm /financial institution engaged in Commodities Trading /other financial instrumentsSkills and Knowledge requiredSales and Key Account managementRelationship building and networking abilitiesInfluencing key stakeholders and negotiating win-win solutionsKnowledge of broking firms/commodities tradingTrading experience in broking firmsCritical CompetenciesStrategic thinking and business acumenGood negotiating and influencing skillsEffective interpersonal & oral and written communication skillsInnovation and creativityEntrepreneurship (Ownership and initiative)
Degree: MBA/ PGDM
