Setting up monitoring toolsComplete JD Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Experience in networks, setting up systems load-balancing, high availability, disaster recovery Understanding of routing, switching, firewalls and experience working with several different flavors of UNIX Experience in Network Operations Centre (NOC) management, understanding of hardware specifications, TCP and UDP services Experience working with AWS Cloud services EC2 instances, storage, S3, databases, load balancers, cloud watch Experience in tools ticketing system such as manage engine, system monitoring tools such as Nagios, Pandora , automation tools such as Jenkins, incident management tools Ability to for a team, setup the required tools and processes for the operations support Desirable Knowledge of several web server technologies, caching technologies, several databases, storage infrastructure, cryptography, algorithms, trending and capacity planning. Job Responsibilities / Essential Functions Server deployments in staging and production cloud environments. Cooperation with customers and the engineering team for changes to staging and production deployments Handle Incident Management and escalations; provide action plans for any incidents reported by customer within the response SLA timeframes. Provide 24/7 customer support. Establish tools as needed for support function ticketing system, incident management, escalation processes SLA monitoring, system monitoring and other tools as needed. Track SLAs and monitor the production environment pro-actively. Establish the escalation and de-escalation process as agreed with the customer and maintain the same in appropriate tools Process improvement, automation, scripting as needed for the role Using network tools as needed to address network connectivity issues, fault analysis, failure avoidance, and the diagnosis and resolution of any other functionally impacting issues in distributed systems environments Writing technical documentation as needed for the support functionKey SkillsNetwork Operations Centre (NOC),AWS,EC2 instances, storage, S3, databases, load balancers, cloud watch,
